Star-delta starter
The Star Delta Starter is a very common type of
starter and is used extensively as compared to the
other type of starting methods of the induction
motor. A star delta is used for a cage motor designed
to run normally on the delta connected stator
winding. The connection of a three-phase induction
motor with a star delta starter is shown in the figure
below.

Things to Be Aware Of
I. Be careful not to leave any open space when
insulating the cables with tape after connecting
the cables.
II. Be careful not to tighten the screws too much
when installing the bell because the bell may
break.
III. Be careful not to damage the conductors when
opening the terminals
IV. The screw terminals of the transformer's
terminals must be properly tightened. If it is
tightened too much, the cables may be torn off. If
tightened, the cables may become clamped, and
the cables may become arcing due to their
loosening.
V. When connecting the cables to the materials,
connect them in the screw tightening direction.

Hi!
I am Luka. I attend
vocational school for
chemistry, electrical
engineering and
computer
engineering. I live in
Vitanje where we
have the center of European space technologies,
which I am interested in. Besides that, I really like
sports, reading and doing something new. Projects
like this really excites me. I get to know different
people, different cultures and probably different
mentality. I hope I will learn a lot new and that this
project will open my eyes and motivate me even
more.

programming and
automating different
systems. My hobbies are
sports, music, reading
books and learning
different things, especially things connected to
electricity. This is my first Erasmus project and I am
really excited about it. I joined it because I want to
meet new people and see how our profession is
taught in other countries.
