ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF A ‘COMPUTER TRAINEE'

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for recruitment of a ‘Computer Trainee’ in
the Indian Statistical Institute, North-East Centre, Tezpur, and purely on temporary
basis.
Minimum Qualification:
B. Tech. / B. E. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics
and Communication Engineering from a recognized Institute/ University with at least 60%
marks in Mathematics at Higher Secondary (10+2 years’ of education) level and at least 75%
marks in B. Tech. / B.E. course.
Function:
To assist in maintaining computer systems / networks / webpages/ audio & video equipment.
Pay:
₹ 20,000 -- 25,000/ (Rupees Twenty – Twenty five thousand only) - per month
(consolidated), depending upon) qualification and experience.
Age:
The age limit is 35 years as on 01 July 2019 with usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and
differently- abled candidates.
Tenure:
Initially, the appointment will be offered for one year from the date of his/ her joining at the
Institute, which may be extended later/ terminated earlier, depending on the need of the
Institute and performance of the candidates.
