Job Description


• Manage and lead the warehouse teams covering all logistics areas including raw
materials, finished goods, storage locations and external 3rd party logistics
• Make sure that Quality, Cost, Delivery, Involvement and Safety standards are
properly implemented.
• Lead continuous improvement actions aimed at improving standards.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement of inventory accuracy
• Improves team performance through daily OJT (On Job Training), supervision
and coaching

• Lead and manage several teams and all logistics areas including the raw
materials, material flows, finished goods, storage locations and external

◾ Ensure all the teams follow Valeo Safety Rules and Dress Code
◾ Manage the workload of the area and optimize the allocated
◾ Improve continuously the expertise level of the teams; training,
multiskills, flexibility, etc
◾ Motivate the team members in order to develop initiative and
improve efficiency and service level to the organisation.
◾ Leads PSG (Problem Solving Group) and VPS (Valeo Production
System) workshops.
◾ Lead the 5MM and the escalation process across all shifts
◾ Ensure Book-in process is completed within 24 hours from

◾ Ensure production operations have the correct levels of materials

available at the correct time & location

• Make sure that Quality, Cost, Delivery, Involvement and Safety standards are
properly implemented:

◾ Make sure daily Quality, Costs and Delivery targets are fulfilled or
corrective actions are in place
◾ Responsible for HSE within the logistics areas and ensure
adherence to safety standards
◾ Identify potential safety issues and implement corrective actions.
◾ Lead Safety, process and 5S audits in the logistic areas
◾ Work with production teams and support departments to resolve
issues related to material flow & availability.
◾ Keep the Plant Supply Chain manager informed of any problems
likely to have a significant impact on the logistics activities.
◾ Is in charge of all inventory counting / stock counts in logistic
◾ Organize and ensure daily cycle counts to enhance inventory
◾ Ensure flat storage lay-out meets Valeo requirements

Education / Training & Professional Experience Required;

• Qualification in Supply Chain/ Warehouse management / inventory control
• Knowledge of ERP systems & APICS Certification an advantage
• 3 Years in Supply Chain Management
• High level of analytical ability / use & application of QRQC methodology
• Ability to work under pressured environment, good communication skills and “Genba”
• Experienced people manager, with good leadership skills and results focused
• Problem solving attitude
