EXTENSION: Call for

Papers
1st Annual SEACS Conference

The Southeastern Association of Cultural Studies invites paper proposals related


to any aspect of literary, cultural, media, film and communication studies.
Presentations on pedagogy, semiotics, linguistics, and literary and cultural theory
are also welcome. For more information, please visit TheSeacs.org.

Paper proposals must include a 250-300 word abstract in English as well as the
name, rank, and affiliation of the presenter. Proposals from undergraduates must
be accompanied by a brief note of support from a faculty sponsor. Panel
proposals must include a 250-500 word letter of justification along with the
session title; a 250-500 word abstract in English for each proposed paper; and
the names, email addresses, and institutional affiliation of all participants.
