Online remote HA system consists of two ATAE clusters.

When active site is unavailable, standby site can take over services from the active

site and thereby avoid service interruption.

System involves two networks: service network and data replication network

Requirements of the service are the same as those of an ATAE cluster system.

The right table lists the requirements of the data replication network.

standby standby’

The industry's mainstream software VVR is employed.

Boards at the active and standby sites work as pairs of data synchronization boards, synchronizing

service data from the local site to the remote site in real time.
The data synchronization direction changes upon a remote switchover is performed.

Redundancy Switchover Mechanism

If a master service board, slave service board, or database board is faulty, a local switchover

is automatically triggered.
If the local switchover fails, the administrator needs to manually switch the overall system to

the standby site.
