B767 Type Rated and Non Type Rated FIRST OFFICERS


Air Japan Co., Ltd. is a charter airline based in Tokyo Japan. It operates scheduled services under the ANA
brand. Its main base and headquarters are Narita International Airport. Air Japan uses the All Nippon call sign on
all flights except the Seoul Incheon and Singapore routes use the Air Japan call sign.

Air Japan is currently focusing on recruitment for First Officers and plan to rely on their command upgrade
programme to fulfil their Captain requirements. Therefore this is a great opportunity for First Officers looking
for career development opportunities.

Non Type rated applicants who meet all the minimum requirements will be provided with a B767 type rating
by Air Japan.

Contract Term
5 year with and possible extensions to age 65

Operating Base
Narita, Japan
Note: please note that this is a commuting contract so you will not be residing in Japan and will be commuting to
your chosen home base every month on your days off.
To make the commute workable you may consider relocating yourself to the closest point on the ANA network.

Minimum Requirements
Total Flight Experience in excess of 3,000 hours
Commercial Jet Experience in excess of 500 hours (Boeing or Airbus airline experience is preferred)
250 hrs. PIC; 100 hrs. PIC Cross Country; 200 hrs. Cross Country;
100 hrs. Night Flight; 75 hrs. Instrument Flight; Required.
Valid ICAO State ATPL
ICAO Level 4 English
Valid Jet Aircraft Type Rating (SIC/Co-Pilot Jet Type Ratings accepted)
Valid Command Instrument Rating
Valid ICAO State Class 1 Medical Certificate
Date of last flight on Jet aircraft within last 12 months at time of application

NEW BONUS: up to USD $25,000 after 3rd year (April) based on the previous Japanese fiscal year of service.

*Retirement
Pension Plan USD $550/month after completion of training. Voluntary 401K plan available.

*Supplemental Pay
$550/mo. will be paid during training only.

** Experience Pay
Effective August 2008, additional compensation to recognize the crew member's years of service. Guaranteed for
3 years and subject to review in 3 years.

***Commuting Allowance
USD $2,000 per month or option of having Business Class (subject to availability)

Accommodation Allowance
USD $550 per month (to cover accommodation costs while in Japan on duty)

Days Off
10 consecutive days off and 2 commuting days. 18/19 operations days per month.

Annual Leave/Vacation
24 days per year.

Sick Leave
Accrue 1 day per 2 months, 12 days max per year.

Travel
ZED travel available on Star Alliance Carriers, ANA Group, and AF/DL/KE/AS/and KA airlines for the Crew and
their eligible dependents after 6 months of service.

Per Diem
$44/nt while in training; $976 per month there after

Training Bonus
USD $550 per month while in training – will be accumulated and paid upon completion of training.

Contract Completion Bonus


F/O: USD $18,000 based on 5 years of continuous active service.

Health Insurance
Company paid international medical insurance through Aetna Global for the Crew and their eligible dependents.
HCF and Overseas Insurance for Australian Citizens.

Life Insurance
Basic Life Insurance 2x annual salary up to $300,000
