ANNOUNCEMENT OF NEW NON TEACHING POSITIONS FOR SENIOR HIGH


SCHOOL (SHS) 2016-2017

I. This Division announces the vacancy of the following Non-Teaching Positions for Senior High
School (SHS):

2. Based on DepED Order 19, s. 2016 entitled “Guidelines on the Organizational Structure and
Staffing Patterns of Stand-Alone and Integrated Public Senior High School (SHS)”. General
functions of SHS non-teaching staff are as follows:

Assistant SHS Principal II for Academics


Supports the Principal or school Head in the instructional supervision and implementation of
all academic programs of the school;
Monitors and assess the delivery of the school curriculum, ensuring the holistic development
of learners across all tracks, strands and subjects;
Makes integrated recommendations regarding class assignment of teachers, loading and class
programs to the Principal;
Coaches and mentors the teaching staff of the school;
Creates and Implements the strategy towards the continuous improvement of the school’s
learning outcomes; and
Reports to the Principal/Schooi Head.
Assistant SHS Principal for Operations and Learnei upport
Supports the Principal or School Head in the administrative supervision and implementation
of all learner support programs of the school;
Manages the system, process and people involved in the delivery of support services to the
staff and learners;
Coaches and monitors the non-teaching staff of tire school;
Creates and implements the strategy towards the continuous improvement of the school’s
system, process, and delivery' of learners support services;
Acts as a liaison between the school and its external partners, stakeholders and the LGU,
together with the Principal or school Head; and
Reports to the Principal/School Head

Administrative Officer
Responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the administrative process of
the school including budget planning and preparation of financial reports, subject to the
approval of the School Head or Principal; and
Reports to the Assistant Principal for Operations and Learner Support and/or Principal/School
Head

Nurse II
Provides health and nutrition services to the schools within the division;
Assists in the implementation of the school’s health and nutrition program;
Reports to the Assistant Principal for Operations and Learner Support and/or Principal/school
Head, as well as the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) at the SDO.

REGISTRAR
Receives, update and maintains the records, reports and documents of the school, its staff and
learners;
Manages and updates the Learner Information System (LIS);
Ensure an efficient process of registration and enrollment,
Facilitates the process of releasing records of the school, staff, and learners to the necessary
institutions, and
Reports to the Assistant Principal for Operations and Learner Support and /or
Principal/School Head.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II
Provides administrative and clerical support to his/her supervisors;
Maybe designated to assist either the Principal/School Head or any of the assistant Princpals;
May also be designated as property custodian or to the canteen services of the school, as
deemed necessary: and
Reports to the Assistant Principal for Operations and Learner Support and/or Principal/School
Head.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICERI(SG-11)
Project Development Officers (PDO) shall be hi ed and appointed as Youth Formation
coordinators, pursuant to the provisions of DO 66, . 2007.
YOUTH FORMATION COORDINATOR
Manages the youth formation programs of the schools within a division,
Including but not limited to the implementation of the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) as
well as other co-curricuiar and extra-curricular clubs and programs;
Manages and monitors the implementation of the career guidance program in senior high
schools; and
Reports to the Assistant Principal for operations and Learner Support and/or
Principal/School head, as well as the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) at
he SDO

3. Qualification Standard (QS) for the above-mentioned positions based on the aforecited Order are
as follows:
ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL II (SG-19)
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in education or its equivalent with a major and
minor,
Bachelor's degree in Arts and sciences with at least 18 units in
professional education.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years of relevant experience
TRAINING: 8 hours of relevant training
ELIGIBILITY: RA 1080

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER 11 (SC-11)


EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE: None Required
TRAINING: None Required
ELIGIBILITY: Career Service (Professional)Second Level Eligibility

NURSE II (SG-15)
EDUCATION: Bachelor OF Science in Nursing
EXPERIENCE: 1 year of relevant experience
TRAINING: 4 hours of relevant training
ELIGIBILITY: RA 1080

REGISTRARI(SG-1I)
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree
EXPERIENCE: None Required
TRAINING: None Required
ELIGIBILITY: Career Service (Profess:onal)Second Level Eligibility

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II (SG-8)


EDUCATION: Completion of 2 years studies in college
EXPERIENCE: 1 year of relevant exp rience
TRAINING: 4 hours of relevant tr aiing \

ELIGIBILITY: Career Service (Subprofessional) First Level Eligibility


PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICERI(SG-ll)
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
EXPERIENCE: I year of relevant experience
TRAINING: 4 hours of relevant training
ELIGIBILITY: Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility-"

4. Interested qualified applicants to these positions are hereby requested to submit their pertinent
papers as enumerated hereunder for screening and evaluation, to wit:
a. Application letter;
b. Personal data Sheet (PDS),
c. Official Transcript of Records (TOR) with Special Order;
d. Performance Rating for the last three (3) years with at least very Satisfacto ry (VS) Rating;
e. Certificates of Training/Awards/Recognition/Outstanding Accomplishments; and
f. Updated Service Record: and
5. Deadline for the submission of pertinent documents will be on May 25, 2016. No documents
shall be accepted thereafter.
