In Table 5.

2, values for the resistances were measure in a T-network to be used later for the delta to wye
transformation. By Table 5.3, Fault F7 RAC, RAB, and RCD had quite difference in comparison with the
default values. From 3.299 ,2.701 , 3.798 to 2.099,2.701,2.591 kilo ohms respectively along with the
other modifications. In F7, there is a big change at R3 with a value of 2. 194 kilo ohms compared to its
default value which is 0.99, the rest of the modification had relatively close values to the default.

In table 5.4 in which the pi values –for both open and closed circuits- were measured to obtain RA, RB
and RC, the rest of the values can e calculated through the formula given in the manual. The values
obtained in RA, RB, and RC have the same values with the default values which are 4.427, 2.740, and
4.007 kilo ohms respectively. At Modification M10, a change of the values at RB was observed with a
measured value of 3.750 Kilo ohms compared to the default which is 2.740 kilo ohms. It also affected
the values which used RB to obtain RAD and RAC.

By table 5.5, the resistances were measured through a delta network with three modifications namely
F6, M6, and M7. The default values were also measured to compare the changes of resistances being
measured in each modifications which were 2.673 kilo ohms for RAD, 2.068 kilo ohms for RAC, and
2.570 kilo ohms for RCD. Suprisingly, each modifications have different values and were not close to the
default values. Using the data gathered at table 5.4, the delta network were calculated and the default
values have the same values with the measured values of the delta network which were 2.673, 2.068
and 2.570 kilo ohms. Upon calculating for the other modifications, they have the same values with the
default values mainly because the values for the pi network for all modifications have the same values.

As seen in Table 5.6, the data from the default value versus Fault F7 were really not close with the
values of 4.472 RA, 2.783 RB, 4.042 RC while F7 RA was measured as 3.5025, RB 4.8115, and RC 6.9922
kilo ohms because of the change of resistance values at Y network in table 5.3. The rest of the
modifications –M6,F6 and F7- have the same values which are 4.463, 2.781, and 4.048 kilo ohms for
RA,RB and RC respectively.

In table 5.7, where the values of Table 5.6 will be transformed from wye to delta to delta to wye. Using
the default values of the Table 5.6 which are 4.472, 2.783 and 4.042 kilo ohms, transformation formula
was used and resulted to 1.1017 kilo ohms for R1, 1.600 kilo ohms for R2, and 0.996 kilo ohms for R3
which has the same values with the first table at table 5.2 for R1, 2 and R3 proving the use of the Wye to
Delta and Delta to Wye Transformations.
