SUMMER TRAINING

Early in the summer, Karen was invited to teach effective communication

skills to the NC Department of Revenue in Raleigh, NC. The 60 executives in
Raleigh were joined via streaming by several other offices around the state
while she led them through an exercise on effective listening and impactful
storytelling.

Later in the summer, Aneil returned to Baltimore for the third time to kick
off the Maryland State Bar Association Leadership Academy Fellows and
walked them through their StrengthsFinder 2.0 results. SF helps the
individual leader learn how to best contribute to his or her team. This team
will meet all year long to build their leadership capability with strengths as
the foundation.

training.
In groups of 60, we walked all 240 banking executives through their
StrengthsFinder 2.0 results to help them discover how they can not
only use their strengths at work, but also contribute more effectively
to their teams.

This course also focused on how their own banks, as well as the
industry as a whole, can build trust with customers, employees and
the general public, using the ROCC of Trust as a starting point.

This group of 240 bankers was completing their third and final year
of the Stonier Banking School and completed our course as an
elective. We look forward to next summer!
