Telling others how they can have eternal life is the greatest thing you can do for them
If a neighbour or friend had a disease and you knew the cure you would not withhold it - why do it with the peace, grace, love and eternal life God offers? Acts 4:12 - Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Everybody needs Jesus

Your mission has eternal significance
The eternal destiny of people rests on you - your mission has consequences that last forever John 14:9 We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. Continually look for opportunities - the clock is ticking

Your mission gives your life meaning
Only the KOG will last forever - the fruit of worship, fellowship, spiritual growth, ministry and mission will last forever - nothing else will. Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

God’s timetable for history’s connected to the completion of our commission
When will the 2nd coming take place? We don’t know - Acts 1:7-8 He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you wi& receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you wi& be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in a& Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

What it costs to fulfill your mission
It’s simple - abandon your agenda and get onto God’s agenda No more “God bless what I do” Rom 6:13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought !om death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

Point to ponder

I was made for a mission

Point to ponder
Matt 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of a& nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Question to consider

What fears have kept me from fulfilling the mission God made me to accomplish? What keeps me from telling others the Good News?
