i. Theater has many benefits that people don’t often consider. There are many things a person can learn
from performing and engaging in a theatrical production.
ii. Theater promotes communication skills, teamwork, dialogue, negotiation, socialization. It stimulates the
imagination and creativity
iii. It allows the development of a critical thinking and allows us to make better and more conscious decisions

Theater is one of the most effective ways to develop soft skills and emotional intelligence in people, skills
that are often not developed through the traditional education system.

5 CONCLUSION
i. Experiential training has always had a great impact besides increasing engagement. Theater-based training is a
new form of experiential learning that brings joy, engagement and true return on investment.
ii. As an art form and training format, it provides space for participants to explore aspects about themselves through
reflection and observation. Theater-based training is “an antidote to workplace negativity.
iii. As a student of theater course, I hope theater can be a new methodology for corporate training to enchance
many business competencies, including leadership, communication, creativity, team building, and emotion
management skills.
