CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
Spherical Housing-One-piece molded, non-combustible,
reinforced polyester sphere forms a light\r'/eight, weatherproof
enclosure-free of rust, corrosion and breakaqe problems.
Optical Assembly-Spun aluminum ref lector, Anodized
surface with finishes ranging from specular to diffused.
Reflector is an end-punched, sphero-parabolic design.
Combinations of prismed or clear, tempered glass lenses and
reflector finishes produce narrow medium or wide beam
spread patterns. The hinged, stainless steel lens frame is
gasketed with silicone rubber and secured by a single captive
locking screw
lntegral Ballast-Starting rated to -2OoE Ballast for Mercury
Vapor and Metal Halide lamps are constant wattaqe auto-
transformer (CWA) type. Ballast for H igh Pressure Sodiurn
lamps are constant wattage autotransforrner type using an
electronic starter circuit. All ballast are high power factor.
Lampholder-Enclosed, glazed porcelain socketwith spring-
loaded, nickel-plated center contact and reinforced mogul
screw shell lamp grip. HPS sockets are pulse rated.
Mounting-A cast aluminum slipf itter for 2" pipe permits
optimum aiming orientaiion with pole, arm and bracket
combination selected.
Finish-Standard baked-on enamel paint finish is white.
