AB6 EXPAND NORMAL CHECKLIST CLIMB

1. Air-conditioning ............ SET.............PNF

When taking off with both packs off:


– For passenger’s comfort, after setting climb thrust, set one pack on.
– After slats are retracted, set the remaining pack on.
– Check flow bars in line and all air-conditioning indications are normal.

When taking off with both packs supplied by APU: ECON FLOW WHEN PAX < 190
– Set APU bleed switch off after setting climb thrust.
ECON flow may be selected ON if required. Approx 68% airflow is provided.

– Set ignition selector to OFF or leave it at CONT RELIGHT according to LP’s discretion.
CONT RELIGHT is only required under heavy icing conditions, heavy rain or severe turbulence.

7. External lights ............... SET.............. LP
– Set NOSE T.O light selector to OFF.
– Set both LAND light selectors to OFF before reaching 3000 ft AGL.
– Set WING, RUNWAY TURN OFF selectors to OFF after passing 10000 ft.

8. Fuel system .......... CHECKED ...........PNF


– Check that fuel is supplied from CTR tank if CTR tank contains fuel.
– If CTR tank pumps have been switched OFF before takeoff, switch on the CTR tank pumps and check that fuel is
supplied from the CTR tank.

9. Seatbelt sign ............ OFF/ON ............. LP
– Setting SEAT BELT switch to OFF may be delayed as required.

10.Pressurization & ventilation ................ CHECKED........PNF


– Check for correct cabin rate of climb.
– Check pressurization & ventilation working properly.

11.Altimeters ............... STD/FL__............... P
– Set standby, meter altimeter and pull BARO knob to achieve standard 1013.2 hPa when passing transition altitude.
– Cross check the three altimeters for possible differences by calling out altitude readings.
