It is planned to reinforce, the existing Al-Muzahmiah Colleges Complex,

132/13.8kV Substation # 8522, at the location shown in Drawing No. CT-

1.03 PROJECT SUMMARY
The CONTRACTOR shall perform design and engineering, material procurement,

2.01 GENERAL CONDITIONS
2.01.1 All components and accessories required for the completion and successful
operation of the WORK covered under the scope of this PROJECT, whether

2.01.3 The drawings enclosed with this Scope of WORK and Technical Specifications
are only conceptual for the information of the CONTRACTOR and are to be
read in conjunction with this Scope of WORK and Technical Specifications.
CONTRACTOR shall develop detailed design drawings for construction based
on these drawings.
2.01.4 Copies of existing drawings and other information as deemed appropriate by

the COMPANY may be provided to the CONTRACTOR upon request, if
available. However, if such information is not available, then the
CONTRACTOR should be responsible for the independent development of the
information required to complete the PROJECT.

2.01.6 The CONTRACTOR shall provide a clause by clause compliance of the

2.03 BASE DESIGN PHASE
2.03.1 The base design phase of the PROJECT is a 10-12 week period of preliminary

base design package will be reviewed and discussed in detail to finalize the
base design for the PROJECT. Minutes of the meeting shall be prepared by the
CONTRACTOR to be concurred by all attendees including the COMPANY
REPRESENTATIVE. Contractor shall submit the base design package after
incorporating all comments to the Company for information and record
purposes.

4.2 CIVIL & STRUCTURAL AND ELECTRO MECHANICAL WORKS :
The scope and nature of civil, structural & Electro Mechanical WORKS shall
include construction of power transformer and capacitor bank foundations but not
necessarily be limited to this section of the PTS, Appendices-VII & XII (Modified)
and SEC's Technical, Engineering and Material standards. All connected WORKS
necessary for completion of the PROJECT shall form a part including;
1. Clearance of plot including dump material and any existing structure.
