Tyre Checks:
General:
- Each tyre scanner is loaded with tyre data from all cars of one championship
- All tyre scrutineers are allocated to the same tyre scanner for the whole event
- Each tyre scanner has a marking, e.g. F2 Tyre 1
- Each scrutineer responsible for 1 – 2 teams while in pitlane
- Tyres should be checked when car stops at their respective teams
- Don’t scan tyres:
o When the car is about to leave the pitlane
o When the team wants to check tyre pressures
o During a pitstop in the race
o After the 3 minute signal on the grid
