 To make the students aware of the importance of soft-skills in the present day business
world and work environment.
 To train the students develop the required skills to effectively interact with people and
to articulate their ideas.
 To encourage students to be part of team and achieve synergy.
 To Instil confidence and professionalism in students

Presentation skills – without using visual aids … 2 hrs


 Tips for preparing power point presentation
 Do’s and Don’ts
 Making groups and asking to present on a topic

 Etiquettes and Manners while speaking

Resume Building … 2 hrs

 Rules and Regulations
 Assignments to build a resume

Assessment Method:
Students are assessed as per the following parameters
1. Presentation 10 marks
2. Fluency 10 marks
3. Vocabulary 10 marks
4. Language Quality 10 marks
5. Pronunciation 10 marks
Learning Outcomes
After undergoing training in this course, the students will be in a position to:
i) Communicate effectively with people in simple and good English.
ii) Learn how to give presentation on a given topic.
iii) Prepare their resumes giving the essential details reflecting their capabilities and areas
of interest.
iv) To speak their mind without fear and with clarity
