POSITION PAPER: EXTRA JUDICIAL KILLING (AGAINST)

Extra Judicial Killing is the act of killing a person by government authorities without the
sanction of any judicial proceeding or legal process. Many consider extrajudicial punishments
unethical since they bypass the due process of the legal jurisdiction in which they occur. The
treaty provides that when murder is committed as a part of a widespread or systematic attack
directed against any civilian population with knowledge of the attack it becomes a crime against
humanity. The views to us students in extra judicial killing should not be legalized. All of our
laws are made to protect and to secure the rights of each and every people. The right of the
person is so sacred that we have to institute a very through system to be certain that the right of
an innocent individual would not be violated. A deliberate killing is not authorized by a previous
judgement pronounced by a regular constituted court affording all the judicial guarantees which
are recognized as indispensable by civilized peoples. We need to stop extra judicial killing
because many innocent people are being affected. Many people are losing their love ones.
Killing is against the Bible and also to our God’s commandments. People seek justice because
killing is inhuman. Continuing such inhuman things will encourage other people to do more bad
deeds such as murdering.

Extra Judicial Killing is never been good. They are not allowed to go around killing
anybody that looks like a drug dealer. The way some people describe it, it almost sounds like
they just shoot randomly at anyone that looks like they make, sell or use drugs. This is not the
case, if the criminal surrenders when they are apprehended they are in no danger of getting
killed. I am not in favor about extra judicial killing because these are barbaric and unlawful acts.
The rights of a person is so sacred that we have to institute a very through system to be certain
that the right of an innocent individual would not be violated. Everybody deserves life to live.
But not everyone has a right and authority to get it away from us. Maybe some are proven but
many are not. Extra judicial killing needs to stop. The person behind it should be put behind bars.
Innocent people but now we can just call them warm bodies. Even their families suffer because
of that heartless people who used to kill people even they didn’t sure about if that person is really
violate the law. Killing someone is just like killing God. There are other ways to solve crime that
do not involve the state of killing the citizens. All of laws are made to protect and to secure the
rights of each and every people. The state is responsible for the safety and welfare of all the
citizens that includes those who break the law. No matter how reprehensible they may be still
have a life. Death penalty is unacceptable however dull crime of the convicted person. It is an
offense to the blessedness and goodness of life also to the dignity of the human person. The idea
that people can change should be universally recognized and the state as well as the people
should have faith in this idea. Any kind of killing a human being is not acceptable. People should
not consider extra judicial killing as a solution for the drug problems. This is not the way to
make things safe again. In fact, things might get even more dangerous. We all want to live in a
safe society. Continuing such in human things will encourage other people to do more bad deeds
such as killing. It is an offensive disrespect to human rights and the civil liberties of citizens.
Extra judicial killing is wrong since there are some information that are victims that are not
really related to drugs. Such cases should go first through court process but the police are getting
rid of the criminals by their own hands which is clearly against the human rights. A lot of
Filipino family are suffering from losing their loved ones because some of their family members
are victim of the extra judicial killing. Every human being has the inherent right to live. This
right shall be protected by the law. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of anyone’s life.
Understand that this is a very hard to point to argue because it goes against morality and stands
against the preservation of life. The goal of humanity is to have civilization and there is nothing
civil about killing people just because of the decisions made by one man. Killing someone and
making a claim of their guilt is not enough to make it okay. We can’t allow this to become the
norm at that point they won’t be able to defend their selves and it will be too late. No person,
even if guilty of any of the most upon order heinous crimes can ever be put to death or be killed
legally upon order of the court which would result in a extra judicial killing. I don’t think
violence or killing is ever a solution. You think that by killing men you can avoid the accuser
censoring your lives, you are mistaken. That is not a way of escape which is either possible or
honorable. The easiest and noblest way is not to be crushing others but to be improving
yourselves. To perform extra judicial killing is value to committing a crime pursuant to the
Articles of the Revised Penal Code and as a citizen of this nation we cannot allow the
performance of any crime be it for any purpose. A deliberate killing is not authorized by a
previous judgement pronounced by a regular constituted court affording all the judicial
guarantees which are recognized as indispensable by civilized people. Does not respect right to
live. I mean, you’re not given a chance to defend yourself to be free and start a new life. All are
permanently separated from you once you get a shot in the back either because you’re suspected
of being involved in drugs or on the watch list or actually involved but still wasn’t able to
undergo due process as one of our rights according to the Constitution. It does not respect other
human rights. If you don’t respect right to life y
