TPR ( Total Physical Response )

Objective:
The students will be able to respond through body language to vocabulary to practice the
vocabulary in use. The general objectives of this method are to teach oral proficiency at the
beginning level. Comprehension is a means to an end and the ultimate aim is to reach basic
speaking skill. A method of this topic aims to produce learner who capable of an uninhibited
communication that is intelligible to an native speaker. This lesson plan method used to teach
many types of vocabulary but works best when teaching vocabulary connected with action.
According to this method when teacher gives a command and student should only do it.

Learning Experience:
1. Language learning is often concerned with form the correct grammatical structures and
correct pronunciation of the target language.

respond physically to spoken in the form parental commands.

Assessment / Evaluation:
This evaluation that the teacher plays an active and direct role. The teacher encouraged
to be well prepared and well organized so that the lesson flows smoothly and predictably. Also
learners are required to respond both individually and collectively and have little influence over
the content of learning, since content is determined by the teacher, who must followed the
imperative-based format for lesson. Once a foundation in listening comprehension has been
established, speech evolves naturally and effortless out of it. These principles are held by
proponent of a number of other method proposals and referred to collectively as a
comprehension approach.
