Living
Furniture designs using interactive technologies and sustainable modular solutions introduce the coming future. Back-
printed fabric partitions light up when walked past and the LCD crystal glass panel, separating areas, transforms into an
interactive scenario through the use of electronic effects.
In this context, the leather world should offer a multisensory experience with reliefs achieved by milling and dry cleaning
effects on light weights, by drumming on full grain or embossing on wet-blue, all featuring small, indistinct patterning
or vaguely defined colours inspired by reactive semi-vegetable retanning or by the “Flou” effect of silky nubuck for an
almost timeless decoration.
Also important is wet-white tanning with geometrical and visible negative printing, compact but light rainproof finishing,
deep dyed and with a silky peach skin handle.
A play of effects in very short or long suede (contorted, irregular) with blotchy colours and very broken surfaces.
Living
superfici molto mosse.

Wearing
The main themes in Wearing are simplicity, used materials and colour mix.
Simplicity is achieved through simple shapes and by focusing on using material in an authentic fashion.
Simplicity means products that are both easy to use and almost effortless to make.
The use and function of a particular design also play an important role by triggering innovative attitudes. Playing around
with colours by choosing, combining and changing hues can create countless options, thus evoking emotions.
The main themes include the following with different qualities and types of leather:

• Nappa leather for shoes and leather goods. Everlasting, thin and transparent.
• The elegance of Yves Saint Laurent with a tuxedo dress and re-tanned brushed leather shoes, rubber-like in texture,
without excessive colour contrasts whose spirit can be described as “broken”, “confused”, “marbled”.
• Calves and buffalo calves still in the front line with all the luminosity that they have to offer and with all the nuances
changing with the light.
• Vegetable-tanned nubuck leathers drum-dried for an elegant worn look, not so much to create excessive rustic styles as
to stimulate a fresh, natural and subdued elegance.
• It is very important to elaborate on the types and patterns of the leather surfaces in order to maintain a medium/high
level in this field such as decorations (even including big embossing plates) and animal grain leather sophistication,
cashmere and Mexican flowers.
• We celebrate the return of both double face and pony furs, and have the pleasure of rediscovering the joy of shapes
but above all the high demand for affection.
Wearing

Sella® Derm M2 – Anionic liquid dyes

Creating Dye innovation.

SELLA® DERM M2 dyes are concentrated solutions of homogeneous, salt-free, mainly metal complex dyes in water-miscible and
environmentally acceptable organic solvents.
The SELLA® DERM M2 range consists of sixteen dyes which are all miscible with each other and highly compatible,
thus allowing a flexible colour matching.

SELLA® DERM M2 dyes are recommended for the dyeing of crust leather but they can be also used in order to colour base coat
binders and seasons, as well as leather-finishing lacquers.
They allow deepening, intensifying, correcting, freshening or levelling of the shade of dyed leather.

The main characteristics of SELLA® DERM M2 are:

• Very brilliant and intense colour effects
• Excellent water spotting resistance
• Good PVC migration and light fastness
• Solubility in both water and the most common solvents
• Good performances in spraying, tipping, brush applications, curtain or roll-coating

SELLA® is a registered or filed trademark owned by or licensed to TFL in most countries. Our application recommendations are in line with our present state of knowledge. They do not, however, exempt the customer from
performing his own tests to determine the suitability of the supplied products for their intended purposes. Application of the products lies outside the scope of our control and therefore comes within the customer’s sphere of
responsibility. We guarantee the satisfactory quality of our products subject to general terms of sale and delivery.
