heels of PHAXE, which shifted outwards after being
awkwardly placed on the heels of MOONGATE
STAR.

hindquarters by WIN WIN at the start.

S Noh, the rider of MOONGATE STAR, was fined a sum of S$300 for negligence in terms of MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in
that he failed to claim and ride at his declared riding weight. In assessing penalty, the Stewards considered his recent
record.
App CK Ng, the rider of BARBARIAN, in the presence of his Master, Trainer M Walker, pleaded guilty to a charge of
careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that near the 200m, he permitted his mount to shift inwards, whilst
riding it along, when not clear of ENFORCE (A Collett), resulting in that horse having to be checked. When deciding
on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea and the degree of interference and carelessness.
App Ng was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 09 December 2019 to Sunday, 12 January
2020 both dates inclusive (four Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal.

1 SUPER POSH APP M NIZAR - Began awkwardly and shifted outwards. Raced
wide without cover. Shifted outwards under
pressure in the straight.
2 SIERRA CONQUEROR APP S SHAFRIZAL - Rider reported that his mount travelled well in the
early stages, however when placed under pressure
in the homestraight, was one paced. A subsequent
veterinary examination revealed that the horse
returned lame near-fore. Will be required to pass a
1000m gallop trial and veterinary examination prior
to being declared to race again.
3 BIONICS I AZHAR - Which was fractious in the barrier, was taken out,
examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to
race and reloaded. Will be required to pass one
starting stall test prior to being declared to race
again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).
Slow to begin.
4 DUSSELDORF M RODD - The Farrier reported that the horse returned having
cast its off-fore plate.
7 SILVER SKY B THOMPSON - Inclined to lay inwards under pressure near the
100m obliging its rider to stop riding with the whip
and straighten his mount.

13 SUPERSONICSURPRISE APP T KRISNA - Raced wide. Inside the 300m, had to change course
to avoid the heels of SUPER POSH, which shifted
outwards several horses under pressure.

8 SUPERIOR COAT K A'ISISUHAIRI - Rider reported that he lost the use of his off-side
stirrup iron near the 600m which he was able to
regain near the 450m.
As to avoid a clash with an overseas race, this race was put back five minutes and rescheduled to start at 1400Hrs.
S Noh, the rider of BOOM ALMIGHTY, was fined a sum of S$300 for negligence in terms of MRA Rule 152(5)(a) in
that he failed to claim and ride at his declared riding weight. In assessing penalty, the Stewards considered his
recent record.

4 RESOLUTION B THOMPSON - Rider was obliged to stop and straighten his mount
near the 150m when shifting inwards under
pressure and in doing so, avoid causing interference
to EASY SOUTH EAST.

9 FIGHT FOR GLORY APP M NIZAR - Trainer M Yusof, when questioned regarding the
significant decrease in the body weight of FIGHT
FOR GLORY, could offer no explanation other than
it was having its first start for him. He added that
FIGHT FOR GLORY was, in his opinion, fit to start.
A Pre-Race veterinary examination passed FIGHT
FOR GLORY fit to race.
12 LUCKY ENOUGH M RODD - Raced wide. Crowded near the 800m. Laid
outwards making the turn into the straight.

6 DINGHU MOUNTAIN J POWELL - Raced keenly in the early stages. When the tempo
of the event slowed approaching the 700m, was
checked after racing up close to the heels of
LONELY BOY.

1 ANGEL HALO M RODD - Rider, when questioned, stated that in his opinion,
the gelding performs better when able to lead.
Impounded for routine veterinary and analytical
examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no
apparent abnormality.

3 BOLD THRUSTER V DURIC - Restless in the barrier, taken out, examined by the
Veterinary Surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded.
Trainer M Clements was warned and advised to
improve its barrier manners.
4 SACRED REBEL R WOODWORTH - Bumped on several occasions after the start when
crowded between BOLD THRUSTER, which shifted
outwards slightly and AUGUSTANO, which shifted
inwards.
7 YOU ROKK M KELLADY - Which was fractious in the barrier and became cast,
was taken out and examined by the Veterinary
Surgeon. Acting on veterinary advice, it was
withdrawn by order of the Panel of Stewards at
1706Hrs. Will be required to pass one starting stall
test and a veterinary examination prior to being
declared to race again in terms of MRA Rule 78(2).
10 BIRAZ APP F YUSOFF - Bumped on several occasions after the start when
crowded between BOLD THRUSTER, which shifted
outwards slightly and AUGUSTANO, which shifted
inwards.

7 BILLY BRITAIN R WOODWORTH - Passing the 500m, steadied after hanging outwards
across the heels of DREAMER LEGEND, which
shifted inwards slightly.

11 TIGER FORCE A COLLETT - Near the 750m, was checked when tightened for
room by MAJESTIC EMPRESS, which also had to
be checked and shifted outwards when placed in
restricted room to the inside of OCULIST, which was
laying inwards and away from DREAMER LEGEND.
To compound the incident, BILLY BRITAIN, which
was racing to the inside of TIGER FORCE, also
shifted outwards slightly negotiating the turn. Given
the amount of contributing factors in the incident, the
Stewards took no direct action other to issue a
warning to Jockey S Noh, the rider of OCULIST, for
failing to make sufficient effort to prevent his mount
from shifting inwards.
12 DREAMER LEGEND K A'ISISUHAIRI - When negotiating the turn near the 1400m, had to
be checked and shifted outwards abruptly to avoid
the heels of OCULIST, which had suffered
interference.
Due to a delay in the start time of Race 9, this race was put back five minutes and rescheduled to start at 1735Hrs.

3 GRAND CHOICE B THOMPSON - Rider, when questioned, stated that his mount was
disappointing and failed to respond to his riding. A
subsequent veterinary examination revealed no
apparent abnormality.
4 BRIGHT SUN I AZHAR - Rider, when questioned, stated that his mount was
under pressure in the straight and showed no pace.
A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no
apparent abnormality.
5 BRIGHT ALMIGHTY M ZAKI - Bumped after the start. Held up for a short distance
passing the 400m before being taken outwards to
continue to improve.
8 YULONG GREEN V DURIC - Hung outwards on the turn near the 700m and
carried KRATOS wider on the course. Raced wide
without cover throughout.
Raced wide.
M Ewe, the rider of SUN STEP, was fined a sum of S$200 in terms of MRA Rule 44(3) for failing to notify the
Stewards of his inability to fulfil his riding engagement. Permission was granted for Jockey CC Wong to replace
Jockey M Ewe on SUN STEP.
