SUPPLIER QUALITY & FIELD INSPECTION
Ensure professional and cost efficient management of all project or other Supplier Quality activities.
Ensure supplier quality intervention plans are prepared and regularly updated and maintained in PC
Ensure quality conformance of supplied equipment according to Company standards and/ or customer contract.
Assist and support inspectors and monitoring the inspection activities are in compliance.
Compile all the Inspection reports and inspection release notes, review and distribute inspection reports,
communicate with client as necessary.Summarize the weekly expediting status and provide details to the client.
Participate in weekly tele-conference. Be familiar with the project and the pit-falls. Ensure that the item is shipp
and received complete.
Assign Independent Contract Inspectors, provide them with the related and complete documentation for the
assignment and coordinate inspections, maintaining communication channel with the inspectors throughout the
projects. Review all manufacturing test data, which includes as a minimum, material test reports, NDE reports,
dimensional records, Coating reports, Hydrostatic records, etc.
LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
Plan shipping for critical/big packages prior to readiness of consignment issuances of shipping release note to
vendor after obtaining shipping clearance from QA/QC. Expedite final data dossier from vendor.Acquire
shipment documents for dispatch of the consignment. and perform Bill of Ladding,Packing
List, ( FCA Vendor Works)associated paperwork.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping department for quick transportation of equipments to site.
Issue marine declaration statement and maintain relationship between shipping, accounts payable and
procurements department.Coordinate the Logistics and keep the Consignment Track Record and follow up to
Destination .
PROJECT QUALITY MANAGEMENT- Well Head Platform Construction.
Preparing the project specific Quality Control Plans Negotiating and finalizing of quality requirements with suppliers
and updating of supplier quality tool, Performance of Supplier Quality & EHS Assessments in co-ordination with
sourcing & engineering Reporting to the Project Quality Manager (PQM) and responsible for supporting the effective
delivery of day-to-day Project Quality Management System (PQMS) activities . Supporting the PQM with the
development and effective implementation of the PQMS by the Project Team and supplier.
Carry out Pre-inspection Meeting with the client at vendor sites or through tele-conference to ensure the requirements
are understood by the vendor, discuss inspection coordination, verify status of vendor documents and verify
preparedness of the vendor prior to start of manufacturing. Attend Kick-off meetings to discuss technical
issues.Providing quality inputs to vendors, Assessment prequalification,& Surveying the Vendor works.
Review of MTC, Pressure test reports, valve components certificates, liase with TPI-inspectors,coordination with
Vendor to complete the project in time as per project quality requirements.
Ensuring the availability of required inspection resources with support from the Management ,Vendor

Defining Scope of work nd implements appropriate actions in close collaboration with project team (PQM, PPLM /
Project Manager, Engineering Identifies and records non-conformances in Database define the necessary
activities and follows up close out of these activities. Obtain the compilation of EOMR from Vendors.
Verifying that final conformity inspections are performed where applicable, completeness of delivery and correctness
of labelling, marking, packing, performs / arranges pre-shipment inspection where applicable.
Ensuring timely release of shipment; normally shipment is released only if all quality requirements are met
(exceptions, i.e. conditional release, is only done on instruction of Project Director).
Reviewing the supplier EOMR documentation and resolving discrepancies if any with supplier as
required. Obtaining EOMR documentation from Vendor and submitting to PQM.
Verifying the the NCR´s & claims if any. Completing the supplier quality part of Supplier Performance Rating (SPR)
and consolidates purchaser and specified ratings in the completed SPR.
Performing all vendor activities in compliance to basic EHS requirements and also to ensure that all such basic EHS
requirements are followed by suppliers
