My interest in the English language

A- I could share with you that when I finish high school, I completely disconnect from the English
study. Due to another interest, which was to increase the thematic knowledge of the area of
Social Sciences. Passing the 2012 A friend recommended me to study English to be able to
venture as tourist guide in the city, since the indispensable requisite was to maintain dialogues
with foreign tourists, especially gringos. I chose to review the mathematics. But neither at that
time nor that I had space would have made me remember at least the common terms of English
seen in the baccalaureate, since I was not interested in a foreign language at that time, nor have
I scored low in the competition of the English when I took the higher education tests (ECAES)
motivated me. 2015 arrived and the reason that forced me to be interested in studying English
was when a teacher vacancy was presented in a bilingual school here in Cartagena de India. If I
had studied the English language promptly, I would have had the possibility of working in the
international school, instead my chances of changing jobs or better getting a higher salary
decreased at that time.

B- Why do I study English?
C-
After so many doubts on my part, I decided to get interested in English because I finally understood
how useful it is to learn English. Currently, it is the most widespread language in the world, so it is
taught as a second language in educational systems.
I can benefit from this learning because it is useful for me to understand the texts in a timely and
correct manner without having to improvise in face-to-face dialogues with an English speaker.

You can talk about your experience with the English language. You tell us abou the past, your regrets and
your expectations for the future. Your structures are correct but you need to work much more on your
pronunciation. I recommend you listen to music, watch tv and movies in English or listen to audio books.
