Vibration Measurement at Ground / Building / Structure / Blasting

and adhering to safety norms while carrying out vibration measurements / monitoring on buildings / foundation /
structures which is gaining importance to avoid adverse effect due to resonance in case of foundations of rotating
equipments. We provide valuable inputs to avoid damages / risk to foundation & machineries. Such studies are essential
especially on foundation of high capacity rotating equipments & reciprocating machines like Mill Drives, Crushers, DG Sets,
vibro feeders, conveyor drives, foundations of CMM, NABL accredited Laboratory equipments, etc.

Vibration in building due to nearby construction work (bridges, subways, piling activity) can affect and cause damage or
risk to the structure and dwellings. We carry out vibration measurements on dwelling / heritage / commercial building,
tall structures, bridges, subways and its effect on human exposure during general excavation, Tunnelling, drilling,
demolition, Sheet metal piling, auguring, grabbing, Diaphragm Wall excavation/breaking, mining, blasting or other related
works in nearby area were vibrations cannot be completely avoided including Traffic & Vibration created due to heavy
vehicles).

We provide 24 X 7 services using “ state of the art” FFT Analysers measuring vibration levels in accordance to DIN
4150 standards using Tri-axial accelerometer (1-315 Hz) and complying to DIN 45669 (German fabrication
norm)

experience and in-depth knowledge in Vibration Studies.

Recently such assignment was carried out for nearly a year for the one of the joint venture companies

frequencies using FFT analysers complying to DIN Standards.

Laser Alignment Services Using Latest Wireless Technique

To meet the further demands of our esteemed customers, we

have commenced Laser alignment services. Our team of
specialists can set up the lasers quicker and perform faster than
almost anyone offering those services today. This means they
know where to position targets to maximize the use of laser
alignment systems and thereby minimize time-consuming
mistakes. We also have experts at designing and fabricating
fixtures for the majority of laser alignment applications including
Pumps, Fans Compressors, Turbines, Vertical Pumps, Pulleys / Sheaves etc. We work closely with local machining
vendors for special applications to ensure the fixtures are machined correctly and as cost-effectively as possible.

Shaft Alignment
Shaft Alignment is phenomena where centerline of both the shafts is co-axial to each other at
normal working temperature. Shaft Alignment is indicated by parallel offset and angular offset
which appear individually or simultaneously in horizontal and vertical direction.

The instrument uses state-of-art laser-based shaft alignment system working on

reverse dial gauge method and the measurements are communicated wirelessly
through Bluetooth to an iPad.

Our specialists carry out pre-alignment checks like foundation voids burrs and leveling of soleplates, Bent Shafts,
condition of coupling (holes, teeth, shims, etc), Pipe Strain Mounting bolts for sufficient radial clearance, shim packs
for bend or rusted, moving limitations / Bolt bound situations, provision of jack bolt. In addition the software guides
through identification and correction of Soft Foot.
We perform alignment on all Horizontal flange mounted rotating equipment through most effective way either by
standard 9-12-3 clock position measurement, or if there is limited room for shaft rotation, the system enables users to
use only two 20° rotations of shafts.

The report is automatically created when the alignment is finished. The operator can simply sign it, and it is ready to
be shared. The report shows the measurements for “As Found” and “As Corrected” side-by-side.

What is Infrared Thermography

Infrared thermography is based on Infrared (IR) technique. The principle underlying this technique is that every object emits
certain amount of IR energy and the intensity of this IR radiation is a function of temperature. In an electromagnetic spectrum
the IR region ranges from 0.8 micron to 1000 micron wavelength. The wavelength of IR spectrum is more than that of a visible
spectrum. The IR energy which can directly represent the surface temperature can be detected and quantified using IR imaging
/ scanning camera / system.

Advantages of IR Thermography Analysis

It is a non-contact type technique providing safe, Fast, Reliable &
accurate results. A large surface area can be scanned with ease to
identify high / hot spots / loose connections, etc.

Thermal imaging is presented in visual & digital form for comparison

along with software back-up for image processing and analysis.
Experience in monitoring is a added advantage though not necessary.

Studies by the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP)

Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) is a scientific

method to identify electrical & mechanical defects that
would lead to failures of induction motors. MCSA basically
