METHODOLOGY

The respondents of this study will be from Liceo de Cagayan University, Rodolfo

N. Pelaez Blvd., Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City, specifically the purposively selected CBA

students of School Year 2019- 2020. The respondents are consisting of 30 CBA students at Liceo de

Cagayan University and will be asked by the researcher for consent and approval to answer the

questionnaire. The Quantitative method for the research design is used to obtain the needed data

in the period of the study. After the data collection, an optimum research was applied to obtain

result. The Likert scale is used in this procedure wherein (5) Strongly Agree, (4) Agree, (3) Neutral,

(2) Disagree, (1) Strongly Disagree. The development of the questionnaires adapted consist of

respondent’s respective gender and the descriptive questions that will help to determine and

analyze the effect of social media on the academic performance of the students under the College

of Business and Accountancy in Liceo de Cagayan University.
