 A ship-building should be near the sea. There is no sea in


Mongolia, so we could not build ships there.
 A good location for a business should be near regional
markets, and has good infrastructure and stable
economy and is a good site for the business’s premises.

deciding where to locate a new business (topic)
 1st supporting idea: The first is the infrastructure of the area.

international airport
 2nd supporting idea: The second key element is the living
environment.
Examples/reasons: an attractive place to live, inexpensive houses,
good education for children, etc.
 3rd supporting idea: The third element is the business
environment.

 Concluding sentence: A good location will help the company
gain success.

What factors are important when setting up a regional office?
 Topic sentence: There are three key elements (central idea) in

It is crucial that there are good road and rail communications.
We will find it convenient to locate the office near an
international airport.

environment.
We need to offer staff an attractive place to live where they can

environment.

The functions of a central bank:
