Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT)
Workshop/ Training

Summer Student Program at Malaysia in collaboration with the International


Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), East and Southeast Asia
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT), in collaboration with the International Institute
of Islamic Thought (IIIT) East and Southeast Asia, organized its Summer Student program from
January 21 to January 25, 2018. This residential program was designed for graduate students and
exceptional senior undergraduates. It was a
meeting place between young Muslim scholars
and prominent academician so that the young
scholars can contribute to Islamic research in
the face of current global challenges.
Enlightened and educated youth with an
inclination toward study and research was the
target group for this program. The objectives of
the summer program were to reform thought and knowledge, to nurture young scholars to be
involved in Integration of Knowledge efforts and to embolden academic networking among
students, scholars and academic institutions.

Mr. M. Azizul Huq, President of BIIT inaugurated the program. Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, IIIT
Bangladesh and Mr. Shahran Kasim, Deputy Director of IIIT East Asia delivered their speech in
the inaugural session. They clarified the
objectives and goals of the summer program
to the participants. `The following issues
were discussed in the program: Issues and
Challenges of the 21st Century: Perspective of
the Ummah; Approaches to the Quran and
Sunnah, History of the Muslims with a
Special Reference to the Emergence of Bangladesh; Issues of Islamic Economics and Its
Relevance to Islami Banks and Financial Institutions; Islamization of Knowledge (IOK): The
Case of Islamic Economics; Islamic Perspective on Academic Writing, Islamic Educational
Thoughts from Past to the Present, Issues in Education from the Global Perspective ; Islamic
Epistemology and Integration of Knowledge and Priorities and Scopes of Islamic Research: The
Case of Bangladesh and lectures were delivered by the Prof. Dr. Torla Hassan, Former Deputy
Rector, International Islamic University
Malaysia (IIUM), Dr. Md. Mahmudul Hasan, a
fellow of BIIT, Prof. Dr. Abdullah al-Ahsan,
Department of History and Civilization at
Istanbul Sehir University, Mr. M. Azizul Huq,
reputed economist and the President of BIIT,
Prof. Mohamed Aslam Haneef, Director, Centre
for Islamic Economics, IIUM, Dr. Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Department of English, IIUM, Prof.
Dr. Rosnani Hashim, Kulliyah of Education (KOED), IIUM and Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive
Director of BIIT and the country representative of IIIT Bangladesh respectively.

In the camp all the participants were divided


into five groups and each group were given a
book for critically studying and presenting the
main ideas of the book. The one was led by
Mohammad Shahadat Hossain and discussed on
The Ethics of Disagreement by Taha Jabir Al
Alwani. The second group was led by Ali Ahmad Mabrur and reviewed Qur'anic Worldview: A
Springboard for Cultural Reform by Abdul Hamid Abu Sulayman. The third group was led by
Mohammad Mizanur Rahman and studied on Muslim Civilization: The Causes of Decline and

the Need for Reform by M. Umer Chapra. The fourth group was led by Abdullah Al Masud and
discussed on Usul al Fiqh: Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence by Shah Abdul Hannan. Another
one book, Al Tawhid: Its Implications for Thought and Life by Ismail R. al-Faruqi, was added
during the Camp for all participants. Each group presented the summary of the given book and
finally the best group was honored with an award.

In the concluding session Prof. Emeritus Dato' Wira Dr. Haji Jamil bin Haji Osman delivered his
speech on “Youth Leadership for the Revival of Ummah”. In his speech Prof Osman shared the
partial experience of youths in the inculcatio n of Islamic values in society and the the session
ended with the vote of thanks by Mr. Shahran Kasim for the International Institute of Islamic
Thought (IIIT), East Asia, and Dr. M. Abdul Aziz on behalf of Bangladesh Institute of Islamic
Thought (BIIT).

Workshop on Academic Writing and Quality Publication


Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized a workshop on Academic Writing and
Quality Publication in its conference hall on March 24, 2018. Three papers were presented in the
workshop. The first presentation was on titled ‘Academic Writing, Reviewing and Editing’ by Dr
Maimul Ahsan Khan, Professor of Law,
University of Dhaka and Senior Academic
Fellow of BIIT. Mr Anwar Yousuf Cara, Kube
Publishing of UK and publication consultant of
International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT)
presented on ‘IIIT Style Sheet: How to Submit a
Manuscript’. Dr Abdus Sakur Khandaker,
former Professor of Institute of Modern
Languages, University of Dhaka and the
copy editor of BIIT discussed on ‘Bangla
Spelling and Arabic Transliteration’. Dr. M
Abdul Aziz, executive director of BIIT and
representative of IIIT Bangladesh discussed on ‘Scope and Prospects of Publication at BIIT’ and
presided over the workshop.

Transformation of Governance Towards UN Sustainable Development Goals

Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized a follow- up workshop of SDGs on
‘Transformation of Governance Towards UN Sustainable Development Goals’ at the Conference
Hall of BIIT on April 4, 2018. The first
workshop was held on April 15, 2017 in the
same venue.

Action Network (AMAN) was the key- note
speaker.

and also Founding Director of the Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue, Prof. Dr.
Maimul Ahsan Khan, former Chairman,
Department of Law, University of Dhaka &
Senior Academic Fellow of BIIT and Prof.
Dr. Abdul Latif Masum, Department of
Government & Politics, Jahangirnagar
University and Senior Academic Fellow of
BIIT, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman Anwari,
Department of Daw’ah and Islamic Studies of Islamic University Khusthi and former member of
executive committee of BIIT, Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam, Program Director, The Asia Foundation-
Bangladesh and representatives from National & International Development agencies were
present in the workshop. Mr. Sabur mentioned that transformation is very difficult at the present
world but it is necessary for a nation to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). So we
should try to transform ourselves at first. Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, the Executive Director of BIIT
presided over the workshop.

Training on Teaching Methodologies for Quality Education at Uttara City College

Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized a training program on Teaching
Methodologies for Quality Education in collaboration with Uttara City College (UCC), Uttara at
the auditorium of the collage on March 01, 2018. Dr Md. Abdul Awal Khan, Professor of
Institute of Education and Research (IER) of
Dhaka University and Senior Academic
Fellow of BIIT delivered his specialized
lecturer on ‘Teacher and Teaching: Role &
Strategy’ as a resource person. Mrs. Rawshan
Zannat, Research Fellow of BIIT presented
two papers titled ‘Teaching Methodology of
Prophet Muhammad (PUBH)’ and ‘Conduct of
a Lesson’. Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive
Director of BIIT delivered his speech in the
training program as an honorable guest. Prof.
Dr. Abdul Karim, Department of Islamic
Studies and Dawah of Islamic University
Kushtia and Director of Uttara City Collage
presided over the training program.

Workshop on
Analytical and Empirical Research on Education and Culture
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized a workshop on ‘Analytical and
Empirical Research on Education and Culture: Challenges & Prospects of Bangladesh Towards
Achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals’
in its conference room on July 5, 2018. Dr. Md.
Mahmudul Alam, Assistant Professor of the

University Uttara Malaysia was the resource


person in this research workshop. Dr.
Mohammad Monzur- E- Elahi, Associate
Professor, Department of Arabic Language
and Literature, National University of Bangladesh was present in the workshop as a special guest

his speech as a discussant. Dr. Maimul Ahsan

and Senior Academic Research Fellow of
BIIT, moderated this program and Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT presided over
the event.

Intellectual Discourse on
Soul and Resurrection: In the Light of Quran and Science
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized an Intellectual Discourse on Soul and
Resurrection: In the Light of Quran and Science on June 11, 2018 at its Conference Hall.
Lt. Col (Retd) Zakaria Kamal, was the
presenter in the discourse and discussed the
existence of soul and its different dimensions

in the light of modern science. Dr. H. A. N.

University, Kushtia was the main
discussant in the program and Dr. Mir
Nazmul Karim, former Professor of
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) chaired this event.

Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized a Seminar on ‘Inclusive Development
from South Asian Economic Perspective’ on
January 5, 2018 in its Conference Hall at Uttara.

Senior Academic Fellow of BIIT was the
keynote speaker in the seminar. Prof. Dr.
Abul Hasan M. Sadeq, Vice Chancellor of
Asian University of Bangladesh and Prof.
Dr. A. Latif Masum, Professor of Government & Politics, Jahangirnagar University and former
Vice- Chancellor of Patuakhali Science and Technology University, delivered their speeches as
panelists in the seminar. Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT, chaired the program.

Conference on
Women and Islam: Towards Achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized a conference at its Conference Hall on
Women and Islam Towards Achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the
occasion of International Women’s Day on
March 08, 2018. Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive
Director of BIIT, inaugurated the conference
with his speech. Dr. Nasima Hasan, President
of Witness, an online think-tank group
presented a paper titled ‘Women in
Development: Islamic Perspective’. Ms.
Tazima Hossen Majumder, Social Activist and Volunteer of Hunger Project- Bangladesh, Dr.
Md. Anwarul Kabir, Associate Professor,
Department of Arabic Language and
Literature, National University, Bangladesh.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Munim Khan, Professor of Islamic Studies, Asian University of
Bangladesh were present as speakers in the workshop and delivered their speech mentioning the
different aspects and dimensions of women rights. All the speakers of this conference tried to
find out the main problems to empower a woman in our society and provided possible solutions.
Mr. Shah Abdul Hannan, Founding Chairman of BIIT Trust, former secretary of Bangladesh
Government and eminent writer, presided over the conference.

Seminar on Family: A Primary Institute of the Ummah’


Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Though (BIIT) organized a seminar in conjunction with
celebrating The International Day of Families
titled ‘Family: A Primary Institute of the
Ummah’ at its Conference Hall at Uttara on
May 15, 2018. Mir Lutful Kabir Saadi,
Award- winning Science Journalist, researcher
and writer was present as keynote speaker in
the seminar. Mr. Saadi emphasized strongly in
his key note paper to build up our family and family life for better future of Muslim Ummah.

Mrs. Masuma Begum, another discussant of this event and the faculty member of Institute of
Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA) said that we should form a family forum
and that family problems may be discussed in this forum for better solution. She also mentioned
that nowadays divorce rates are increasing in our society. The chief guest of the seminar Mr.
Shah Abdul Hannan, former secretary of Bangladesh Government said that Islam emphasizes to
form a strong family from its early age and this is the fundamental teaching for every Muslim.
Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT, presided over the seminar.

Seminar on HIJRI NEW Year: Its Significance and Implications


Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized a seminar in connection with
celebrating the Hijri New Year 1440 titled
‘HIJRI NEW Year: Its Significance and
Implications’ at its Conference Hall on
September 15, 2018. Professor Md. Rafiqul
Islam, Department of General Education of
Bangladesh Islami University (BIU), was

present as the key- note speaker.

Prof. Dr. Shamsuddin Ahmed, Department of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering (MCE),
Islamic University of Technology (IUT) and Allama Maolana Fayzullah Aman, Mufti of Iqra
Foundation delivered their speeches as panelist discussants of the event.

Prof. Islam mentioned in his keynote paper that Hijrah is to be rendered into practice as a
distinctive Lunar Calendar termed it as the
Islamic calendar in the world civilizations. He
also said that Hijri year, Muslim life and the
history of Islam are not separate; they are
integrated picture in the Muslim Ummah and
described the advantages and disadvantages of
Solar Calendar and Lunar Calendar System.

BIIT chaired the seminar.

Interdisciplinary Study Circle


Study Circle for BIIT Officials
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized monthly interdisciplinary study circle
with the members, fellows and the officials
and staff of BIIT. Eminent scholar Mr Shah
Abdul Hannan, former secretary of
Bangladesh government and C hairman of
BIIT Trust, moderated the circle. This study
circle meets once or twice in a Month. The
members of the study circle meet once or
twice in a month.

Quran Class for BIIT Officials


Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT)
organized a Quran Class during the holy month
of Ramdhan to teach how to read the holy

Quran with correct pronunciation. BIIT officials, members and fellows participated in the class.
Mr. Md. Ayub Hossain, adjunct faculty of Islamic Studies, Bangladesh Islami University (BIU),
Dhaka and Deputy Registrar of National University of Bangladesh (NUB), taught how to
translate the holy Quran into Bangla and Md. Abbas Uddin, famous Arabic language trainer
taught the holy Quran with the Scientific Method and with the newly invented method learning
The Holy Quran with One Word. This is a new and popular technique to learn the holy Quran
within one month with Tajweed- i-Quran i.e. reading the divine scripture with right
pronunciation.

Roundtable Discussion

Roundtable on
‘Towards Integrated University Education: The Global Context’
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) organized a Round Table Discussion on
“Towards Integrated University Education: The Global Context” on 20 October, 2018 in its
Conference Hall at Dhaka. The program aimed to discussing the epistemological bias and
integration approaches in academic disciplines of University Education. Professor Dr. M.
Shamsher Ali, renowned scientist and founding President of BIIT, presided over the meeting.

Professor Dr. Omar Jah, Vice Chancellor of Islamic University of Technology (IUT), OIC was
present as the Guest of Honor while Dr. Said
Sabri Ragab Ali, Director General of Society
for Social & Technical Support (SSTS) was
present as the special guest.

Three valuable papers were presented a the


roundtable by three outstanding scholars, i.e.
Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University and Senior
Academic Fellow of BIIT, Dr. Shamsuddin Ahmed, Professor of the Department of Mechanical
and Chemical Engineering (MCE) of Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Gazipur and Dr.
M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT & country representative of IIIT.

After presenting the above mentioned three papers, a discussion session was held. Professor Dr.

Professor Dr. Omar Jah, Vice Chancellor of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) and the
Guest of Honor of this event introduced ‘Iqra Epistemology’ in his esteemed speech. Dr. Jah said
that it has two dimensions,: a) Vertical i.e. spirituality and b) Horizontal i.e. to spread and
maintain the teachings of Islam. With practical and Qur’anic examples he established his
argument. He also informed that the aim of education at the be ginning was to prepare ‘Murabbi’-
a role model. But now ‘Iqra epistemology’ has been changed to ‘Epistemology of Mizania’ i.e.
secularized by the Western influences. Appraising the earlier presentation he added that we have
to change our mentality regarding vocational education and also emphasized on monologue
rather than dialogue.

and former President of Bangladesh Academy of Science presided over the roundtable discussion

A good number of participants attended the roundtable. They included Professor Dr Abdul Awal
Khan of IER, University of Dhaka, Professor Abdus Sakur Khandaker, Institute of Modern
Languagse, University of Dhaka, Professor Dr Md Abu Raihan, Department of TVE, IUT; Dr.
Abdul Mokit, Deputy Director of SSTS; Dr. Nasima Hasan, Manarat International School and
Collage; Ms. Momota Hena, PhD Fellow of IIUM and Abdus Samad, Ex Principal, Savar
Teachers’ Training College, Savar Dhaka.

Mr. Shahadat Hossain, honorable Director (Registration and Audit), NGO Affairs Bureau and
Joint Secretary of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, visited the office of
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT)
in the morning of January 27, 2018. In
connection with his visit, BIIT organized a
view-exchange meeting with him. Dr Md.
Abdul Awal Khan, Professor of Institute of
Education and Research (IER), Dhaka
University and Senior Academic Fellow of
BIIT, Mr MA Rashid Khan, Vice President of
BIIT, Treasurer of Khwaja Yunus Ali University and former Joint Secretary of the Government
of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and other senior and junior officials of BIIT were
present at the meeting.
The senior officials of BIIT introduced the participants with the honorable guest and made a
brief summary of the aims, objectives,
mission-vision and different programs of the
institute. Dr Md. Abdul Awal Khan invited the
honorable guest to deliver his speech about the
present activities of Non-Governmental
Organizations in Bangladesh and the functions
of NGO Affairs Bureau. Mr Hossain briefed
about the functions and activities of the bureau
and expressed his satisfaction regarding the present activities of BIIT. He also expressed his keen
interest to cooperate and provide all types of support for its future programs. MA Rashid Khan,
Vice President of BIIT, presided over the meeting. At the end of the program, the honorable
guest received a crest from Mr MA Rashid Khan, Vice President of BIIT. He also visited the
BIIT library premises and finally put his signature and remarks on the visitor register.

The Chief Executive Officer of Jamiah Ayeshah Siddeeqah, Sri Lanka
An exchange of views program was held with Mr J. John Neoton (Ziyad), Mr. M.S.M. Thamseel
and Mr. M. Asim Alavi at the seminar room of Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT)
on January 24, 2018. Mr J. John Neoton
(Ziyad) is the Chief Executive O fficer of
Jamiah Ayeshah Siddeeqah, Sri Lanka which
Mr. M.S.M. Thamseel and Mr. M. Asim
Alavi are Directors of the same institute. In
the program, the guests shared their valuable
experiences with the participants of the
program. They highlighted the present and

past activities of the Jamiah Ayeshah Siddeeqah and expressed his keen interest to work in collaboration
with BIIT.

An exchange of views program with Mr Ahmad Von Denffer was held in the seminar room of
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought
(BIIT) on March 22, 2018. Mr. Ahmad is the
former Research Fellow of The Islamic
Foundation, Markfield, the United Kingdom
and presently working with the Islamic
Centre, Munich. Germany. BIIT officials
were present at the program. At the end of
the program. Mr Ahmad expressed his
satisfaction and keen interest in the overall activities of Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought
(BIIT). Dr M Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT, presided over the meeting.
Exchange of Views with Graduates of IIUM
An exchange of views program with graduates of International Islamic University Malaysia
(IIUM) was held in the seminar room of
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought
(BIIT) on April 5, 2018. Near some about
twenty (20) graduates, research scholars and
Ph-D holders were present in the event. Mr.
Shah Abdul Hannan, founding Chairman of
BIIT Trust and Former Secretary of Bangladesh Government was the Chief Guest and delivered his
motivational speech. Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive D irector of BIIT, presided over the meeting.

An exchange of views program with Mrs Yanin Wongmai was held in the conference room of
Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) on April 12, 2018. Mrs. Yanin is Regional
Coordinator of the Thailand based non
government organization Asian Resource
Foundation (ARF). Mrs. Yanin briefly
mentioned the present and the past activities of
Asian Resource Foundation (ARF). Dr. M.
Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT,
discussed the activities of Bangladesh Institute
of Islamic Thought (BIIT) and presided over the meeting.

Dr. D. M. Feroz Shah presented the concept paper of the module and contents as sample for 4-day
long Teachers’ Training Program of BIIT. Based on Dr. Feroz’s proposal, five committees were
formed subject-wise- for Physics, Chemistry, Biolo gy, Geography & Bangladesh and Glo bal studies.

Dr M Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) and the
country representative of IIIT, USA visited Islamic University of Technology (IUT) on
September 19, 2018 in his office and met
with Prof Dr Omar Jah, Vice Chancellor of
Islamic University of Technology (IUT).

M Abdul Aziz and Prof Dr Omar Jah briefed about their institute and finally both of them were
agreed to form a technical committee to identify the areas of collaboration between IIIT and
IUT by provision of necessary supports and resources in order to improve the quality of
education in general and training and research in particular as the Mission and V ision of the
Institutes are the same. After a discussion, token of appreciation (gift boxes) were exchanged.

Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) met
with H. E. Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat,
the USA Ambassador to Bangladesh and H.
E. Nur Ashikin Mohd. Taib, the High
Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh on
October 15, 2018 at Dhaka. Mir Lutful Kabir
Saadi and Prof. M. Azizur Rahman, honorable
Fellow Member of BIIT were also present this
meeting.

Meetings
Annual General Meeting, 2018
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 2017 of Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT)
took place at its Conference Hall on June 30, 2018 at Uttara. Distinguished Life and General
Members of BIIT were present in the meeting. Mr. M. Azizul Huq, President of Executive
Committee of BIIT inaugurated the AGM with
his speech. Mr. Shah Abdul Hannan, Founding
Chairman of BIIT Trust, eminent Islamic
scholar and former secretary of Bangladesh
Government, was present as the Chief Guest at

the AGM. Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT, presided over the meeting.
Annual Activities Report of the year 2017 of BIIT and Annual Plan & Budget 2018 were
presented in the meeting by Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT. Mr. M. A. Rashid
Khan, Treasurer of Khaja Yunus Ali University and Vice President (Admin & Finance) of BIIT
presented Annual Financial Statements and Auditor’s Report 2017. The delegates of the meeting
took part in the discussion session on the presented reports and finally all the reports were approved.
Amending the Constitution of BIIT was another
agenda in this annual meeting. The amendment
proposal of the constitution was discussed
elaborately in the house and finally was
approved.

In the AGM, the authority of BIIT honored


three fellow members for their individual
efforts in promoting the publications of BIIT
and IIIT during the year 2017. The AGM was ended with the concluding speech of Mr. M.
Azizul Huq, President of the Executive Committee of BIIT and renowned Islamic banking
consultant.
IIIT Global Meeting in Turkey
Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT and Representative of IIIT Bangladesh
participated in the global meeting of
International Institute of Islamic Thought
(IIIT) in Turkey. Representatives of the
overseas offices of IIIT and the affiliate and
partner organizations also attended in the
meeting. Dr. Aziz presented a Power Point
presentation regarding the aims, objectives and
present activities of BIIT.

Participation to the International Conference

Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT and representative of IIIT Bangladesh attended a
workshop titled ‘Consultation on
Transformation of Governance’ from August
19 to 20, 2018 at International Institute of
Peace and Development Studies (IIPDS),
Bangkok, Thailand. In the workshop Dr. Aziz
presented a paper titled Hudaibia Pack: First

Dr. M. Abdul Aziz, Executive Director of BIIT and representative of IIIT Bangladesh attended
an international conference titled Ethics &
Morality for Sustainable Development which
was organized by Asian University of
Bangladesh. In the conference Dr. Aziz
chaired a session and delivered his valuable
speech regarding ethics, morality and
education.

Other Activities of BIIT


Introduced Prof. Ataul Huq’s Corner at BIIT Library
Prof. Ataul Huq’s Corner was introduced at the Library and Resource Center of BIIT
(Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought) on
January 05, 2018. In the corner, Prof. Huq
donated one hundred nineteen world famous
books on Economics and other disciplines and
twenty three peer reviewed international
journals. Dr. Ataul Huq Pramanik, Professor,
Economics, International Islamic University
Malaysia (IIUM) & Senior Academic Fellow
of BIIT. He has some significant writings and contribution to the field of Economic as well as
Islamic Economics.
