Background
In this 21st century, Sustainable Development has become a pragmatic word
which embraces all disciplines of knowledge. The Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs) based on three dimensions of development, namely, economic,
social and environmental are viewed as extensions of Millennium Development
Goals (MDGs) with sustainability parameter added to each MDG to be implemented
in the post2015 era along with a set of all new goals which were ignored in the MDGs.
These are a new, universal set of goals, targets and indicators that United Nations (UN)
member States is expected to use to frame their agendas and political policies over the
next 15 years. The SDGs are a set of 17 specific goals offering special focus on
important areas related to sustainable development that require urgent and extensive
attention at present and in the near future.

About the Conference


The two days National Conference is planned to bring students, researchers,
academicians, practicing engineers, planners, policy-makers, regulators, administrators,
investors, legal & IT solution providers, and NGOs on a common platform to
share and discuss their new emerging concept, experiences, innovative ideas,
technical advancements, constraints and other significant issues on the sustainable
development goals-2030. The knowledge sharing and discussions during the
conference will be useful in suggesting realistic solutions, recommending a policy
framework and opening up new research avenues for the development of better and
sustainable development.

Themes of Conference
The conference will focus on a broad range of topics on sustainable development
goals 2030, from students, researchers, academicians, practicing engineers,
planners, policy-makers, regulators, administrators, investors, legal & IT solution
providers, and NGOs. Although, any theoretical/empirical research works in the
broad areas of the conference title may be accepted for presentation, but the main
conference tracks will be underpinned by sessions around the seventeen SDGs,
which are as following:

Abstract Submission Guidelines
An abstract not exceeding 300 words to be sent in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman,
12 Font with 1.5-line spacing sdg2020@gedy.org by due date. The abstract must
contain:

Title of the paper: Times New Roman, 14 Font, Bold.


Theme: Must indicate the theme/s under which the paper falls.
Author Details: Name with title (Prof./Dr./Mr./Ms.), Designation, Affiliation,
Full correspondence Address, Email ID and Mobile Number.

*Papers shall be accepted in Hindi (Kruti Dev Font) or English.

Note: Full paper is required for publishing. Full paper should not be more than 8000
words (including references). The style sheet of the EPW is to be used for writing the
full paper. It can be downloaded from http://www.epw.in/style-sheet.html.

Best Paper Award will be given for each category.

The Registration fee includes Conference Kit, Conference certificate,


high tea, 2 Lunch, and Tea/Coffee during session breaks.

Travel & Accomodation


Travel allowance for third-AC or Equivalent train journey may be provided to
selected participants depending upon the availability of budget.
Limited accommodation is available in the guest house, hostel and hotel.
Rooms will be made available on first-come-first-serve basis subject to
availability.
