Some factors for considering whether a school should be capped:
▪
Class size legislation
▪
When a school will realize capacity loss
▪
When core facilities (dining, parking, pedestrian & vehicle traffic, toilets, media, student support, etc.) have been significantly overloaded by enrollment.
▪
When a school has used all means of accommodating students, staff, and programs to include sharing and floating educational programs.
▪
When trailer additions are not available.
▪
When attending enrollment reflects and/or base growth projects a significant enrollment beyond capacity, particularly at the entry level grade.
