Research Methodology

This Chapter presents the research methodologies used in study. This includes

the research design, sources of data, data gathering procedure and the statistical

treatment of data.

METHOD

This chapter presents the research design, participants, instruments,

data – gathering procedure and data analysis

Research Design

The study will use the descriptive Method. Descriptive research is a

study of status and is widely used in education. Its value is based on the

premise that problems can be solved and practices improved through

observation, analysis, and description. (E. T. Kohet al.2000). It is applied

in identifying the Roles and Importance of internet in Tourism Promotion Services

Subject.

Participants

The participants of the study will be the all Grade12 students of TVL in Lalakay

Senior High School that taking Touris Promotion Services Subject.

A researcher-made questionnaire is the main instrument of the study.

The reliability and validity of the questions shall be submitted to the researcher’s

adviser.

It will comprise of 2 parts, Part 1 Students Demographic Profile Part 2Roles and

importance of level of usage of internet as a form of reference in tourism

promotion services subject. Reliability and validity of the questionnaire will be

observed.

Data-Gathering Procedure

A letter of request will be submitted to the researcher teacher for the purpose of

administering the study. Upon approval the distribution of the questionnaires

follow.

Data Analysis

For Problem 1, secondary data will be used.

For Problems 2 and 3 weighted mean will be used.
