GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Delta Institute is requesting proposals in order to identify a professional consultant qualified to
plan, execute, and deliver a new/modernized design for our organizational website located at
www.delta-institute.org. A core deliverable is ensuring that Delta Institute staff maintain complete
editing and access of all website content, hosting, and domains beyond the project scope timeline.
PROJECT GOALS
The goal of Delta Institute’s website design and development project is to establish a strong market
presence through an informative, engaging, and intuitive website that will increase visibility, value,
and brand recognition of the organization and its many projects operating throughout the Midwest.
Key audiences include:
• Current and prospective donors, both individual and organizational.
• Practitioners, including municipalities and their leaders, nonprofit partners, universities and
colleges, farmers and food producers.
• General public, with an emphasis on those living or working in the Midwest.

menu options that explore the many issue areas and projects that Delta Institute works within. Our
revised website should:
• Attract prospective and engage current donors, clearly making a case for support.
• Provide an array of tools and resources for practitioners to implement environmental and
economic processes in their municipality, organization, or household.
