In it there are clear signs: The station of Ibrahim! And whoever enters there is secure.

And as a right of Allah, it is obligatory on the people to perform Hajj of the House -- whoever has the ability to manage (his) way to it. And if one disbelieves, then Allah is independent of all the worlds. [3:97]

The Hajj is (in) the months well-known. So whoever undertakes Hajj therein, then there is no obscenity, no sin, no quarrel in the Hajj. And whatever good you do, Allah shall know it.

It is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah. it is your piety that reaches Him: He has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for His Guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right.

Thereafter, when he reached an age in which he could work with him, he said, "0 my little son, I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you, so consider, what do you think? " He said, "0 my dear father, do what you have been ordered to do. You will find me, inshalAllah, (if Allah wills) one of those who endure patiently." [37:102]

Some historical and exegetical reports tell us that the Shaitan tried to seduce Sayyidna Ibrahim away from it three times and every time Sayyidna Ibrahim pelted seven pebbles on him, and drove him away. Right through up to this day, on the three pillars of Mina, pebbles are thrown to commemorate this very endearing act.

So, (it was a great episode) when both of them submitted themselves (to Allah's will), and he

"My dear father. "0 Ibrah'im´ [37. maybe it would give her the comfort she needs. he tied him. [37:I07] and We left for him (a word of praise ) among the later people. and moreover. (Mazhari) and then We called out to him.)" Salam be on Ibrahim! [37:l09] . he kissed his son and. and run it fast over my throat. and also keep your dress protected. he says to his son. [37:I06] And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice. And sharpen your knife.104] you did make the dream come true!' This is how We reward those who are good in deeds. lest the drops of my blood spoil it which might reduce my reward with Allah.laid him on his forehead [37:103] Sayyidna Isma'il said to his father. "Son. with wet eyes. if my mother were to see this blood. for death is hard." Saying this. pay my respects to her and should you wish to take my shirt to her. so that my last breath comes easy on me. who can imagine what would have been going on in his heart. [37:I05] This was indeed a trial that clearly demonstrated (their obedience). But.

" (Aal-e-Imran 3:97) ('Tirmizi) It is related by Sayyidah Ayshah that the Messenger of Allah said: "On the 10th of Zul Hujuh. he is among Our believing servants. [37:I10] Surely. will come with its horns and hooves. to emulate the example and act of qurbani of Sayyidina Ibrahim. no act of son of Adam is more pleasing to Allah than qurbani. and it is so because God has said: . first of all. Fasting observed on each of these days is equivalent to a year's fasting. . if he still fails to do so then it does not matter whether he dies a Jew or a Christian. So. And before the blood of qurbani touches the ground it gains the propitiation and good pleasure of Allah. On the Day of'Judgement. i.This is how We reward those who are good in deeds. A virtue in return for every hair. it was enjoined upon him by Allah and he used to perform it. and he also. the day of Eidul Adha." (Tirmizi) It is related by Sayyidina Ali that the Messenger of Allah said: "Anyone whom God has given enough to perform the Hajj. replied the Prophet. has a conveyance which can take him to the House of God." (Masnad Ahmad and Ibn Majah) . he replied: "It is the Sunnah of your (spiritual and racial) progenitor..e. Ibrahim. said: "0 Messenger of Allah! What is the recompense for us on these offerings?" "A virtue in return tor every hair of the slaughtered animal"." (Trmizi and Ibn Majah) It is related on the authority of Zayd bin Arqam that some Companions asked the Prophet what was the history and significance of qurbani? Upon it.. then. and salah during each of these nights is equivalent to salah during Laylatul Qadr. [37:1ll] By the ten nights [89:2] Sayyidina Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah said: "There are no days on which Allah likes better to be worshipped than the ten days of Zul-Hqjjah.those who can afford the journey.Pilgrimage to the House (of Allah) is a duty men owe to God . "In the same proportion. It has been commanded to me and my followers also. 0 bondsmen of God! Perform qurbani with full willingness of the heart. ³The Companions. . The Companions again asked: "Does it apply to wool also (meaning will the sacrificial offering of animals like sheep and camel which have wool instead of hair fetch the reward in the same proportion)?" "Yes" replied the Prophet. the animal of qurabani.
