1MANIFESTING

THE

ANOINTING

Turn to Matthew 16, verse 21, I think. Matthew 16:21, From that time Jesus began to show to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again on the third day. Then Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, Far be it from you, Lord: this shall not happen to you. Hallelujah. We see Peter got in the flesh— like he was going to save God, right? Hold on God, I’ve got a plan! Let me pull my blueprints out and show you what I’ve got here. Hallelujah. But Jesus said to Peter, Get behind me, Satan: you are an offense to me: for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men. You know that’s something you must always remember— that satan’s purpose is to use men to promote the will of man. Amen? That’s his purpose and his function. Because that’s the only way he can get to you. Hello. Does everybody get it? But so we see here that Peter had a demon. I mean Jesus looked right at Peter and said, Listen satan .... I’ll bet you Peter was a little freaked out. Who are you talking to?! What did I do?! You know the old innocent, It wasn’t me! It was her! And Jesus looked right at Peter and said, Listen satan, you are an offense to me. Why? Because Jesus was the Anointed One. He not only carried the will of God— he carried the presence of God, the glory of God and the anointing of God. Amen? He carried the what? The anointing of God. Because he was the manifested anointing of God, wasn’t he. Then Jesus said to his disciples, If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself,— So we know that by carrying the anointing you must deny yourself. Then you can what? Take up your cross, and follow me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it. So there is a price for the anointing. Come on everyone say: There is a price – for the anointing – I must lose – my life. For what profit is it if a man gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and he will reward each one according to his works. According to the works of God. In other words, you and I don’t do the works, he does them through us, doesn’t he. Amen? So there is a price to pay for the anointing. Is everybody with me? Now satan wants to hinder the will of God, doesn’t he. Do you carry the will of God? So he’s after— not you— he is after the will of God. Does everybody understand that? So because you are a carrier of the will of God, he wants to kill you so the will of God cannot be manifested. Go to Romans 8. In verse 1, There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are what? In Christ Jesus. Now the word “Christ” means what? Anointing. He is the anointed one and his anointing. So there is no condemnation to those who are in the anointing. —who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Where you see “Spirit,” it’s anointing. Where you see the word “love,” it’s anointing. Where you see the word “Christ,” it’s a representation of the anointing. Does everybody understand that? Why? Because listen, we shared some of this— you know everybody celebrates the birth of Christ. Hallelujah. Praise God. But you know what it is— it’s Christ’s first coming. See we need to celebrate his first coming. Why? Why did he come? To bring you the what? The anointing. That’s why he came. Was to what? Come one say it: He came – to bring me the anointing! For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in who? —us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Or walking in the what? Anointing. For those who live according to the flesh [which means “according to the will of satan” – hello] set their minds on the things of the world [or the things of the flesh] that fulfill the flesh; but those that live according to the Spirit [or the anointing] they set their minds on the things of the anointing. Oh, hallelujah. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God [or hatred toward God]: for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be. Your carnal mind is always going to be

against the will of God. Why? Because it’s associated with self. Self is the offspring of darkness. That’s how self started was in the garden of Eden. Remember? Why— how did self start? Because what happened? The serpent deceived Eve, didn’t he. Amen? Once that happened, self was birthed. Why? Because the master of self was in the garden. So you and I were born in darkness. Why? We were born blind. Does everybody get it? We were born blind. Self reigned until you were born again. That’s a whole other teaching that I’m not going into tonight. So then– those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But those who are in the Spirit can please God. Amen? So the first coming of Jesus was to bring the anointing to overcome the world and the sway of the wicked one. Why? Because the anointing overcomes everything. There is not one thing the anointing cannot overcome. That’s why Jesus overcame everything, didn’t he. Amen? His second coming— will come to destroy those who are in the flesh. Because the flesh is associated with the will of satan, or the will of man. So we celebrate the first coming of the Lord. Amen? Not just this baby that was born. We celebrate— remember they talked about the Christ that would come. What were they talking about? The anointing that would come!! So the purpose of the first coming was to bring the anointing so that we would have the anointing to overcome the world. The second coming is to come and destroy those who are in the flesh. Amen? Praise God. Now, the anointing frees us from indwelling sin. It didn’t say it removed it. It said it freed us. Why? Because self is still associated with darkness— it’s still an offspring. See within you and me we still have the knowledge of the tree of good and evil— and the tree of life now. So when you became born again you got a new spirit. You were awakened. Whoa!!! Yes!!! Right? When the Holy Spirit came into you and filled you – oh, hallelujah – and the scales came off and you became a new creation. And old things passed away and all things become new— through the anointing. Amen? Through the anointing. Now, go to Isaiah 10. So within us is the old man still. So it stays crucified as you stay in the anointing. That’s why those who are led by the Spirit [or the anointing], right, they crucify their flesh. Does everybody get it? Oh, hallelujah. Praise be to God. Isaiah, is everybody there. Isaiah 10. I’m almost there. Glory to God. In verse 11. Isaiah 10:11. I think that’s it. No, I’m sorry— verse 27. Would you read it with me. Isaiah 10:27. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of what? The anointing. The yoke— that means bondage! Amen? Bondage. Why? What breaks the bondage? The anointing. Amen? The anointing. Remember that Jesus was the word that became flesh, wasn’t he. Jesus didn’t do anything until he was anointed. Once the word was anointed, he laid hands on the sick, he cast out devils, he raised the dead, didn’t he. In fact, he went right into the wilderness and went after the devil. Jesus did not go after the devil with the word. He went after the devil with the anointed word! That’s the difference between religion and relationship. Ohhhhh .... we’re going to get a little bit— wild! Matthew 16:24. Oh, never mind. Go to Matthew 17. Matthew 17. OH, HALLELUJAH!! Matthew 17, mon. In verse 10, And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first? Now remember, Elijah was the one that was taken up alive. And Jesus answered and said to them, Indeed Elijah is coming first and will restore all things. But I say to you that Elijah has come already and they did not know him. But did to him whatever they wished. Likewise the sone of man is also about to suffer at their hands. Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them of John the Baptist. Because John the Baptist came in the Spirit of Elijah. Is everybody with me? Now listen, was Elijah anointed? Amen. So the anointing brought the remission of sin. Come on, now look at this. Why because John the Baptist was out preaching what? Repentance, remission of sin. So the anointing brought the remission of sin. Repentance activates the blood of Jesus, doesn’t it. The blood always goes before the Spirit and allows the Spirit to have access. Alright, is everybody with me? So before you could receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you had to repent. Why? Because the blood had to go first. Amen. Well here was John— now at that period of time it was symbolic to be baptized in water which represented the remission— washing of your sins

with the blood. Everybody got it? Oh, hallelujah. Now, let’s go to Mark 1 and we’ll see this a little bit more. So Elijah was— John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah. Everybody got it. John the Baptist was preaching remission of sin. He was the anointing that was preaching the remission of sin. That’s why he had to die. Remember when he saw Jesus he said, Behold the Lamb of God. Now it was becoming available to all men. He said, Behold the Lamb of God – he said, I must decrease that He can increase. See the first thing that happened when Jesus got baptized in water— now there was the true anointing. Let me share something with you, that’s when the blood got anointed. The blood of who? The blood of Jesus. Does everybody understand that? That’s when the word got anointed and that’s when the blood got anointed. There was no longer a need for John. He had to die. Come on, do you get it? Okay. In Mark 1:2, As it is written in the prophets— Read it with me. —Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Well remember John came in the spirit of Elijah. Then all the land of Judea and those of Jerusalem went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan river, confessing their sins. Now John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a leather belt around his waist and he did eat locusts and wild honey. Now I want you to know these were not flying locusts. They were nuts. His cereal came with nut & honey! [Laughter.] Hallelujah!! John would have made a gazillion dollars, man. He could have opened up his own mission and everything! Hallelujah. And preached, saying, There comes one after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loose. I baptize you with water but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in Jordan. Now I want you to understand something. The anointing of the spirit of Elijah— Hello —The word that became flesh came, and here is the anointing of the spirit of Elijah baptizing Jesus. Remember John said— No man, you are supposed to be baptizing me! And Jesus said, No you’ve got to baptize me. You’ve got to. So here John, the spirit of Elijah, baptizes Jesus - right. For what? The remission of sin. But he didn’t sin. What was he baptizing him with? The Holy Spirit. Come on. Then the dove what? Came down, didn’t it. Oh, hallelujah. And immediately coming up from the water he saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon him like a dove. Then a voice came from heaven, saying, You are my beloved Son, in whom I am what? —well pleased. Oh, the anointing always brings sonship. That’s that relationship. Why? Because God is Spirit. Amen? God is Spirit. In fact, unless you are in the Spirit you can’t receive the things of the Spirit. And immediately the spirit drove him into the wilderness. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him. So we understand that it was the anointing of God— that was the reason for the first coming– to bring you and me the anointing. Does everybody understand that? Now when Jesus was anointed or baptized in water, he was not only anointed— of the word, of the flesh, but his blood was now anointed. Does everybody understand that? So he was now a walking alabaster box. It had to be broken— for all man to receive the anointing. Does everybody understand that? So the blood was anointed in Jesus. Let me share something with you. God sees the blood. Hello. Now look at the next verse in verse 14. Read it with me. Now after John was put in prison and got killed, right, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God. Well what’s the kingdom of God? The anointing. And saying, the time is fulfilled, the kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe in the gospel, which means the message of truth. Again. God the Father— God— sees the blood. Is everybody with me? The demons see the anointing. Hello. Come on say it with me: The Father — sees the blood — the demons — see the anointing. The kingdom of God is manifested by the anointing. That’s how the kingdom is manifested. By what? The anointing. That’s why there are people who walk with no power. The kingdom is not manifesting! Oh, they have the word— get baptized in water— forget the anointing!! No, no,

no, no. The anointing— the anointing is the reason why he came. —It was to bring it for me and you. Oh, hallelujah. Remember I just shared with you– Jesus became the alabaster box. John was beheaded for righteousness, wasn’t he. Amen? He was killed for righteousness. But he had to die. He had to be severed. Amen? Go to Romans 14. Is everybody alright? Oh, we bless you Lord. Glory. In Romans 14:16. That’s why people do things they don’t want to do. Amen? Why? No anointing. Amen? No anointing. You know people can walk right out of the anointing. And that’s how the devil tries to get you— he tries to move you right out of the anointing. Where there is love there is the anointing. Because the love is the anointing. Amen? Jesus was filled with love, wasn’t he. In verse 16 read it with me. Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking but what? Righteousness, and peace, and joy where? In the anointing. Hello. Come on, do you see it? The Holy Spirit’s the anointing. In fact, if you really think about it, who impregnated Mary? The Holy Spirit! Whoa!! So Jesus was really, the son of the Holy Spirit. Amen? So he was Spirit— dressed with the word. Okay. That’s why when the anointing came— Jesus could say, If you see me you see me you see the Father. Because the trinity was now manifested in the natural realm, and nothing can come against the anointing. Nothing. It can try but it can’t overcome it. And this is where we are going to need to be in these latter days. That’s why people who go to a dead church, they have struggles. You will tell someone by the anointing— how much they worship. If they are worshipers you know they are anointed. Why? Because the first office you must fulfill is priesthood. And one of the things a priest does is minister to the Lord. If you can’t minister to the Lord with all of your heart, you can’t minister to people with the anointing. Because you don’t have it. Exodus 12. The Father sees the blood and the demons see the anointing. The kingdom is manifested by the anointing. Start at verse 1 and read it with me please. Oh, hallelujah. Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, This month shall be your beginning of months: and it shall be the first month of the year to you. Speak you to all the congregation of Israel, saying, On the tenth day of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his fathers, a lamb for a house: And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man’s need you shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: you may take it from the sheep, or from the goats. Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at what? Twilight. I love this. Remember when Jesus was on the cross, what happened? It got dark. Why? Because he was the lamb. Many Jews who were really— not just playing church — got saved. They realized that he was truly the lamb of God– when it got dark. And they shall take some of the blood of it and put it on the two door posts and on the lentel of the house where they eat it. Then they shall eat the flesh on that night, roast it in fire, with the unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Do not eat it raw, nor boil it at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the entrails thereof. And you shall let none of it remain until morning; and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire. And thus shall you eat it; with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; so you shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night— Now this is the final plague. This is how they came out of Egypt. Now the word Egypt means world. Hello. This is how you come out of the world. And will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I, when I, when I, when I— see the blood, I will what? Passover you, and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt. Oh, hallelujah. Why? Because the Father sees the blood, doesn’t he. So how much more does he see the blood of the Lamb. Because now the blood is anointed, isn’t it. Amen? That’s why we speak the blood, don’t we. Go to Luke 8. Because this is the ministry

of the anointing. The bible says we will have the early and latter rain. Those who thirst and hunger for righteousness shall be filled. And in those days I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh. And they will prophesy and young men, like myself, shall see visions and dreams. Luke 8:26. Would you read it with me. And they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite of Galilee. And when he stepped out onto the land, there met him a certain man from the city, who had demons for a long time, and he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house, but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I beg you, do not torment me. What did he see? The anointing. Come on. Do you all understand that? He saw the what? The anointing. For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness. And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And the demon said, Legion: because many of us have entered this man. And of course they begged him not to send them to the abyss. Hello. Please don’t send us to the abyss! And so Jesus sent them into the swine, didn’t he. And the swine went and drown themselves. They didn’t even want them. But what happens is the demons see the anointing. And one of the things that we want to happen in our lives— is the manifested anointing to be in our lives. Does everybody understand that? The manifested anointing!! How is the anointing manifested? By walking in it! Does everybody understand that? By walking in it the anointing is manifested. The devil will always try and move you out of the anointing. With what? Sways of the world. Lust. Fear. Amen? The anointing is what destroys the yoke. The demons see the anointing. The Father sees the blood. So when you speak the blood, the Father sees it, doesn’t he. That’s my kid! But what the Father actually does is he sees Jesus when you speak the blood. Are you with me? When you speak the blood, he sees the price of his son. From that point you have an inheritance. Everything comes from the cross for you. He does not see you. He sees his son. The Father sees the blood— He sees his son and the promises and everything that has been given for you. He makes it available for you. So that’s why you have everything! That’s why you have been predestined. Everything is available for you. The anointing is available for you. And the demons see the anointing. Go to Acts 10:36. The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) That word, you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; How God what? —anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil; for God was what? —with him. Hello. So we know the anointing is used for service, isn’t it. Anointed with the Holy Spirit to overcome the devil. You know why people can’t overcome the devil? Because the anointing is either not there— Hello. Somehow they broke the anointing, somehow they have walked away from the anointing, or something has happened which has separated them from the anointing. Because if the anointing is on you, there isn’t a thing on earth that can overcome you! Nothing! NOTHING CAN OVERCOME THE ANOINTING OF GOD!! NOTHING!!!!! I don’t care if there are a gazillion demons there— They cannot overcome the anointing of God. Hallelujah. Go to 2 Corinthians 3. Well why do I keep doing what I’m doing? Because you need deliverance! Hello. Those demons must first come out of you. What do you mean? I’m a believer— I don’t have demons! Ohhh you’re loaded! Hello. Hello. Remember when the dude got— the demonized dude we were just talking about— when he got delivered, where did he end up at? Jesus’ feet. Do you want to know why people don’t end up at Jesus’ feet? Because they haven’t been delivered yet! Do you know why they can’t worship? Because they are not delivered yet. See when you become a believer, you must go through deliverance— every believer should go through deliverance. Every believer! I don’t care who you are!! You go through deliverance. And as you go through deliverance, you find more freedom. Why? Because then the Holy Spirit has more access. See if you don’t have control over something, somebody does. Oh, hallelujah!!!

Okay, where did I say to go? 2 Corinthians 3. Every believer needs deliverance! Everyone. Pastors need deliverance. They need to get cleaned up. I go through a cleaning session. Not only every day— Hello. But there is a period of time. I mean there are times when I go through a cleaning session and get rid of all these demons that have been picked up that I think are there— I don’t care if I think they are there or not!! — I’m going through selfdeliverance! Everyday. There are times I will fill my bathtub up and baptize myself again! [Laughter.] After I turn the jets off! [More laughter.] I baptize— whoa!!!!! Hallelujah. Praise God. 2 Corinthians 3:4, would you read it with me. And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God. Who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter, but of the anointing: for the letter what? Kills, but the anointing gives life! Does everybody see this? Oh, you know the word, praise God– know the page numbers and everything. But still can’t cast out a devil— especially the one that’s in you! Now remember, where there is one, there is a cluster. There’s never just one devil there. Oh, I’ve got to get rid of the main one! No, you need to get rid of all of them! Hello. We are in the ministry of the anointing. Why? Because the first coming of the Lord was to give you the anointing. Why? Because the anointing overcomes everything. If it wasn’t for the blood you wouldn’t be able to have the anointing. That’s why in the book of Revelation is says “and they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.” Why did they over come by the blood of the Lamb? Because the anointing was given to them through the blood. Luke 4:16. Is everybody there? Luke 4:16, And so Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as was custom, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read. And he was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. Do you think it was coincidental? Hello. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me— This is the first thing Jesus preached. What did he preach? The anointing. Come on! That’s the first thing he preached. Right in the synagogue! The anointing. He went right in, came up out of the water, was led into the wilderness, and then went into the synagogue. Man, do I have a message for you! Wait a minute. Aren’t you Joseph’s son? Aren’t you that carpenter? And he took the bible— the torah, and he said, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me— or the anointing is— Why? Because he has what? —anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. To preach the message of the truth to those who are weak! What was he bringing them? The anointing!! Why? Because where the anointing is, the kingdom of God is manifested! And where the kingdom of God is manifested, your inheritance and everything is brought forth to you! Everything. That’s why the enemy always wants to break the anointing off of you. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and o recover the sight of the blind. Why? Because the anointing removes the scales. To set at liberty those who are oppressed, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord is the anointing— the manifested kingdom of God and carries the message of truth. Go to Isaiah 11. Praise God. If you are beginning to sense yourself squirming a little bit, it’s because a demon in you is beginning to recognize the anointing. [Laughter.] Man, I just don’t like this stuff! You don’t believe it, huh— that’s a demon telling you. I just don’t believe in any of this stuff— are you kidding, I’ve got so much religion I can’t even live! Why? Because the letter is killing you. You know, when I had my encounter with the Lord, I didn’t know the bible. In fact, I didn’t want to know the bible. I saw too many bible thumpers not walking according to the peace and joy and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. I was afraid that the bible was going to take me away from my Daddy. Hello. So see I began to have a relationship with the person before I began to read the bible. But I knew the bible because the author of the bible was living in me. So I knew what the right thing to do and what was not the right thing to do. I was being led by the anointing. He would say, Why don’t you go do this— Okay. Now tell somebody about the visitation. So he had me going around giving my testimony about how Jesus delivers and heals and about my visitation with the Lord— for weeks. And then he said,

it’s time to learn the bible. And the bible seemed to have to creep over to me sometimes and I would go, No. No. No! I didn’t want to know the bible because I was afraid of losing my relationship— because too many people were in love with a book, instead of the Person. That’s religion! I’ve had people tell me, Yeah I sleep with the bible on my head. [Laughter.] Give me that bible, let me hit some sense into you! They are thinking that the word is going to spread right into— Why don’t you just eat the pages! [More laughter.] Then it was time for the Holy Spirit, who was my mentor, my teacher and my friend— and he began to tell me, Okay Guy it’s time— I want you to know the word. Well why? Because I want you to begin to teach it. Oh. See there is a difference between “anointed word” and “word.” There’s a difference between “letter”— and it’s not about a man. It’s about the anointing, isn’t it. Does everybody understand that? Hey listen, did you ever see when they put grease all over a pig? They had those pig catching things— nobody could grab it. That’s what the anointing does. So if you have to bump into me and slide off, it’s okay! Hello. See the devils try to grab you— and they can’t! Because the anointing— they recognize the anointing. Hello. Oh, hallelujah. Isaiah 11:1. There shall come forth a rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest on him— Hello. Say: Now the Spirit of the Lord — shall rest upon me. The anointing — shall rest upon me. With the anointed — wisdom. Anointed — understanding. Anointed — counsel. Anointed — might. Anointed — knowledge. Anointed — reverence to God. That’s why you are a worshiper! Does everybody understand that? Because the anointing brings you to a place of reverence where you can’t help but worship Him! The Spirit of the Lord with wisdom anointed— man the anointing that keeps, or knows, all things. Glory. I John 2:18. Little children, it is the last hour: and as you have heard the what? Anti-anointing is coming – even now many antianointing ministers are out there and have come; by which we know that it is the last hour. [Laughter.] I’m telling you the truth! Far be it that we should pray in the Spirit! Somebody might get revelation knowledge! Far be it that we should worship and dance around. Somebody might get healed! Oh, hallelujah. Well those were done with the apostles! Well wait a minute, didn’t anyone read Ephesians 4! Those apostles aren’t gone. THEY ARE RIGHT IN THIS ROOM!!!! RIGHT HERE ARE THE APOSTLES!! Oh, hallelujah. Glory to God. Yes, many anti-christs. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have hung around the anointing! They would have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not of us. Hello. But you have the anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. Why do you know all things? Because you have been anointed with wisdom, understanding— Hello. That’s the sevenfold of the Holy Spirit. Seven means complete and perfect. You know all things because the creator of the universe is in YOU. I have not written to you because you know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Anointed One? He is antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. See what happens is the devil tries to get you to come against the anointing. That’s why the most unforgivable sin is called blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Because God is Spirit. He is the Anointed One — He came to share his anointing with his children. Far be it that we would come against the anointing of God! When you rebel, you come against the anointing. Hello. Whoever denies the Son, does not have the Father either: he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also. Now remember the anointing is a representation of the Father. Does everybody understand that? Remember when Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit, then he said, If you see me, you see the Father. After my encounter with the Lord, the only voice I heard was the voice of the Father. I heard his voice in me all the time. For about two weeks, I couldn’t even function in this world. I would go around and hug someone who was 80 years old and say, My child! And I would think, What am I doing?! I just wanted to love everyone! I wanted to be a Father to everyone! Man, I would preach to ants. It said preach to all creation, right? Man, I preached to everything! Hallelujah! Praise be to God. Let’s keep going. In verse 24. Therefore, let that abide in you, which you heard from the beginning. If what you have heard

from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he has promised us, eternal life. These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from him abides in you and you do not need that anyone teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in him. Oh, hallelujah. See the anointing teaches you. Even in your mistakes, he teaches you. Do you understand that? He is your mentor. He teaches you. Always teaches you. Why? Because he wants more of your life. The more the anointing there is. You want to be totally possessed by the anointing. Oh, hallelujah. See the antichrist— of course means anti-anointing because satan can’t come against the anointing. Amen? The anointing manifests Christ’s character in us. Knows all things. Teaches you the truth of the spirit world. That’s why satan doesn’t want you to know. People are moved out of position because of the lack of anointing. Does everybody understand that? In Ephesians 4. See Jesus went to the cross and birthed me and you out of his side because the first thing that came out of him was blood. The second thing that came out of him was what? Water. Why? Because the blood goes before the Spirit. And that’s where you and I were birthed. That’s where the anointing was. Why? Because once the blood was shed, it was shed for all mankind because it was anointed. Remember before Mary could touch him— he said don’t touch me, I have not ascended to my Father. What was he doing? Bringing the blood home. Making access for everyone. Ephesians 4:30. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit! Disobedience grieves the Holy Spirit. Let all what? Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. Now he’s telling you things that grieve the Holy Spirit. And be you kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Keep going. Therefore be imitators of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and gave himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling smell. Now we see here that the anointing is associated with love. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as it is fitting for saints. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor course jesting, which are not fitting: but rather giving of thanks. For this you know that no fornicator, unclean person, or covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things, the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them. What the scripture tells us here also is— he’s talking about— that there is a sweet smelling aroma. That’s a representation of denying yourself. The more you deny yourself, you become a sweet aroma. Is everybody with me? You are on the cooker. Oh, hallelujah. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit. These are all areas of grieving the Holy Spirit. What does that do? That breaks the anointing off of you. It will separate you from the anointing of God. Amen? Why? Even the anointing left Jesus on the cross. When? When he took all the sins of mankind. The first thing he said was, Father why have you forsaken me. Why? Because the anointing is a representation of the Father. Hello. My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me!! The anointing left him! He took on the sins of man!! He became the serpent for you and I and hung on the cross. The same serpent that was held up on the staff for the Jews in the old testament to look upon and get healed, now hung on the cross. Not only for the Jews but for all mankind now. Oh— go to I Kings 19. Is everybody there? Verse 1. Now before we get started I want to tell you about Elijah who had just gotten done calling fire down from heaven. Hello. Who had just gotten done killing 400 prophets of baal. Amen? In the time of Ahab and Jezebel, who were king and queenie. Wicked. And Elijah, I’m telling you— he just got done killing 400 prophets of baal, called fire down from heaven on the altar. Showed everybody that God was God. Amen? Now in verse 1, And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and also how he executed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of

one of them by tomorrow about this time. And when Elijah had heard this, he arose, and ran for his life— Hello! What happened to the 400 prophets you just killed? What happened to the fire you just called down from heaven — that sucked up the whole altar and everyone freaked? Fear moved him right out of the anointing. Is everybody with me? Hallelujah. So he rose, and boogied. In verse 4, But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down— Oh wait a minute, I’m going to go back to verse 3, because this is really crazy. And when Elijah had heard this, he arose, and ran for his life and went to Beersheba, which belonged to Judah, and he left his servant there. See ya! I’m out of here!! I’m gone man!!! Are you kidding, this girl’s going to kill me! Was that me that called down that fire? Did I just get done killing 400 prophets? No – couldn’t have been!! I’m out of here!! See ya servant, you’re on your own! Hello. Where’s the anointing? He probably left it with the servant. [Laughter.] He’s going, What’s up man!! Where are you going? Come on, don’t you remember, we high-fived after that one— you killed 400 prophets, you called fire down from heaven.... and you’re running? Hallelujah. Now, go to verse 15. So the Lord had to step in with Elijah. And the LORD said to him, Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when you arrive, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria: And you shall anoint Jehu, son of Nimshi, as king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. So now he’s going to replace Elijah, isn’t he. Does everybody understand that? Why? Disobedience. Fear will move you right out of place and have you come against the anointing. Instead of walking in the anointing. Does everybody understand that? See the devil wants you to come against the anointing all the time. Look at what happened to Peter. Didn’t he come against the anointing? What did Jesus say? Get behind me. Hello. See the devil wants to use you to come against your own anointing! And he does it with fear! satan’s greatest weapon is deception and his power is fear! That’s his only power. Why? Because that’s the only thing he can utilize to get you to come against the anointing. Fear. Hello. Okay, where are we? Verse 18, Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, whose knees have not bowed to baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him. So he departed there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he was with the twelfth. Now you have to remember at this period of time, anybody who had twelve yoke of oxen was wealthy. Very wealthy. Now these twelve yoke of oxen were Elisha’s supply of life. It was a family business. He was inheriting it. It was everything. It was his provider— Amen? It was his food. It was everything for him!! No matter what— it was his provider. This was his business, man!!! Then Elijah passed by him, and threw his mantle on him and said, Come on now. New life. And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me please go back and kiss my mommy and my daddy. My sister and my brother. Let me cash in all my stock. Let me get everything that’s owed to me— Then I’ll follow you. And he said to him, Go back again: for what have I done to you? Then the light bulb went off in Elisha’s head. So Elisha turned back from him, and took a yoke of the oxen, and slaughtered them, and boiled their flesh using the oxen’s equipment, and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he arose, and followed Elijah and became his servant. Let me share something with you, that’s where you must burn your past. Everything that was associated with your past— your talents. Everything must be burned. Everything must be burned! Anything that comes from your past that is not anointed of God, will hinder your anointing. Everything from that point on— now when it comes, it must be ordained and anointed by God to support your anointing. Does everybody understand that? Oh, hallelujah. So what he did is he said, okay I’m going to take this equipment that has been my provider, everything— the talents, the business, everything— and I’m offering it up to the Lord. I’m killing these two oxen as a sacrifice and I’m letting you know that I’m burning my past! I’m killing my past! I am totally sold out for you! Whatever you want. And I won’t take anything on that’s not anointed, appointed and ordained by you! Because if it’s not, it’s going to come against the anointing in your life. See this is where people make decisions out of need— that bring a problem in their life. They make a decision of out emotion— that brings a problem in

their life. Hello. Instead of waiting on God. Well I need it now! This must be it, I’ll take it!!! No. See the devil always wants to send something in your life to come against the anointing. Does everyone understand that? Decisions made by emotions will move you right out. Fear will move you right out of the anointing. It causes you to come against the anointing. That’s why we must kill our past. Amen? Oh, hallelujah. Go to Numbers 20. Now we know that Elijah was taken home, wasn’t he. And he left Elisha to fulfill his ministry. Numbers 20. Oh, I really need that job, man! It’s good money!! Oh, yeah. Great money! It’s killing my anointing but it’s great money! You know when God gives you something— this is where people move on anxiousness. God gives you a revelation – gives you something. People move with it, instead of with Him. And what it does is begin to come against the anointing of God in your life. See the blessing then becomes the curse. The talent that God gave you can become a curse to you – because God didn’t say “do it” now. People, too many times, move ahead of God and they force God’s hand. And when they do that, they are actually coming against the anointing. That’s why they struggle, kick and fight. Beg, borrow and steal. See if God is doing it, he provides. Oh, hallelujah. Numbers 20:1. Then came the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the wilderness of Zin in the first month: and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there. That’s Moses’ sister. Now there was no water for the congregation so they gathered together against Moses and Aaron. And the people contended with Moses, and spoke, saying, If only we had died when our brothers died before the LORD! Ah man, they were looking for a water fountain in the desert. And they’re complaining because— Let’s go back to Egypt— I’d rather go back into bondage so I can get me a cool drink! So I can feed my flesh! And why have you brought up the assembly of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here? Man they just forgot about the Red Sea splitting. They forgot about fire coming down. They forgot about being fed manna from heaven. They forgot about the fact they didn’t have to go to a shoe store or a clothing store. They just walked and it grew on them. They forgot about all these things. Fear gripped them. We’re going to die out here! They forgot about the tabernacle going up and seeing the pillar of fire by night and the cloud by day. We’re going to die out here! Let’s go back to Egypt and into bondage! Let’s go back and use again! Let’s go back and drink again. Let’s go back and party again. Let’s go back and fornicate again. Fear saying: You’re going to lose everything. You’re going to die. Go get it while you can! Why have you made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? Is it not a place of grain, or figs, or vines or of pomegranates; nor is there any water to drink. There is nothing out here. There is not even a 7-Eleven! And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly with a headache! And they ran to the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces and said Lord God have mercy and help us! I’ve got a few million people out here that need a water fountain! So Moses and Aaron cried out to God and the Lord spoke to them, saying, Take the rod, you and your brother Aaron and gather the congregation together, and speak to the rock before their eyes; and it will yield its water. Thus you shall bring the water for them out of the rock: and give drink to the congregation and their animals. Now I want you to understand something, that prior to this we had the same incident. Where Moses and the congregation went through the same cycle around the mountain. Hello. And they cried out for a water fountain and the Lord said, Moses take that rod and strike the rock. Hello. Well this was prophetic of what was going to come. Because Jesus was going to be struck. And the anointing was going to be poured out. Hello. So we know that is a part of the old testament— because the old testament is associated with rituals. Now the Lord said, okay let’s go to the new testament that’s coming— I want to what? Speak to the rock. Why? Because Spirit means breath also, doesn’t it. It’s the ministry of the anointing, isn’t it. So what you speak is what you get. Everything comes into the world by first being spoken. Amen? So now they go through the same circumstance around the mountain and the Lord says, Okay Moses now speak to this rock. Hallelujah. Take the rod and whatever and speak to the rock and you and your congregation are going to have

a water fountain. So Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him. Now you know Moses was still pretty upset about all of this stuff. He probably had a little rebellion and anger in him. Amen? And Moses and Aaron gathered in the assembly together before the rock and he said to them, Hear now, you rebels; must we bring water for you out of this rock? Then Moses lifted his hand and with his rod he struck the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation their animals drank. Moses just became disobedient. Remember what happened when Elijah ran. God said it’s time to come home. Well Moses became disobedient and struck the rock because of his anger. So what happened? The devil used anger to come against the— his own anointing. Does everybody understand that? And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, Because you did not believe me, or obey me, to hallow me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them. He said, Okay you guys aren’t going to the promised land. And Moses ended up dying and going home, didn’t he. Aaron ended up dying. Actually Aaron— well that’s a long story and I’m not going there. Does everybody understand that? Anger moved against the anointing. Does everybody understand that? Now listen— Moses was angry. We talked about fear. Right? That comes against the anointing. The bible says that God has not given us a spirit of fear, has he? But what? Power! Hello. Love and a sound mind. Hello. So we see that fear interferes with the anointing. Because where the anointing is there is power, love and a sound mind. Does everybody understand that? Say: Where the anointing is. There’s power. Love. And a sound mind. That’s why in 1 John in verse 14, or in verse 17 through 19, it says that perfect love casts out all fear. Why? Because the anointing will remove that fear. Does everybody get that? Listen, we are in the world. The only way you are going to overcome the world is with the anointing. Amen? So when you get hit with that stuff, you are going to have to cast out that stuff, aren’t you. That’s why the bible says, And those who believe in my name they will what? Cast out devils. That’s through the anointing. Why? Because the kingdom of God is going to cast out devils. The kingdom of God is going to lay hands on the sick. Why? Because it’s the anointing that’s being manifested through us. First you have to figure out which devil you have to get rid of. God is bringing the body of Christ through deliverance. Why? So he can pour his anointing out more. The anointing won’t come unless deliverance has. The move you get delivered, the more you get anointed. Hello! So whatever you are struggling with in your life, its associated with the presence of a demon. Cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, lust— everything. They are all associated. Anger, fear, pride. All of these things are associated with demons. That’s why God is bringing his people through deliverance. Amen? Go to 1 Corinthians 3. Do you want the anointing manifested in your life? Praise God. Then die!!! Get rid of those demons. Go through deliverance. Cry out to God. Worship. Don’t go by what you think or what you feel! Throw your flesh in the presence of God and worship like it was your last day on this earth. It just might be. In 1 Corinthians 3:16, would you read it with me. Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? Hello. Is that the anointing? Yes. And if anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. You are the temple of the anointing! I want to go to 1 Samuel 16. Can we go there for a second please. Saul, who was king, who got anointed by God, thought he was doing God a favor. Hello. He was the first king but he was disobedient. Now the Lord said to Samuel— verse 1, And the LORD said to Samuel, How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go, I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided myself a new king. Alright? Go to verse 13. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him, who is David, in the midst of his brothers: and the Spirit of the LORD came on David from that day forward. In verse 14, But the Spirit of the LORD departed from who? Saul, and a demon, or a distressing spirit, from the LORD troubled him. Why? Because once the anointing lifted from Saul, the demons were like, Here’s lunch!! And Saul's servants said to him, Surely a demon from God is troubling you— called it a distressing spirit. Let our

master now command your servants, who are before you, to seek out a man, who is a skillful player on the harp: and it shall be that when he plays it with his hand, when the distressing spirit from God is upon you, that you will be healed. So even his servants knew that getting in God’s presence was through praise and worship. It’s amazing! I mean it’s amazing, you know!!! It blows my mind when you go into a church— now I’m not against dead churches. [Laughter.] I’m against the spirit of antichrist in that church. Okay— up, down, all around. Fourteen Hail Mary’s and you’re healed. It doesn’t work that way. Come on, give me 25 pushups. Oh, hallelujah. WORSHIP brings the anointing so you can get filled with the Spirit of God! Now look what happens. In verse 22, And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, please let David stand before me; for he has found favor in my sight. And so it was that whenever the evil spirit from God [that demon] was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand, that Saul would become refreshed and healed, or well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him. What was he doing? He was fulfilling priesthood. See unless you fulfill your priesthood, you can never become a warrior. See the bible says in the book of Revelation that God has called us to be kings and priests. But you cannot become a king until you fulfill your priesthood. Because a priest ministers to the Lord. Then you become king, which means warrior. That’s why Jesus is King of kings. Is everybody okay? Are you getting this? I mean it is very important that we get this in our spirit tonight. Because it’s the anointing that overcomes the world. There are too many people walking around with too much religion. Oh, they have the word floating all over. The problem is that it is still floating, doing nothing! Oh, you can go to every class— you can learn lots of things about the bible, but if you don’t have the anointing, it’s useless! Jesus did not do anything until the anointing was in his life! He didn’t do anything –what an example! And then he commanded his disciples, he said, Listen, you’ve been hanging around me for 3 and ½ years and now it’s time for me to depart— but there is something I want you to do. I want you to go in the upper room and wait ten days for the anointing. I don’t care if you have to order Domino’s Pizza— you wait there. Do not go out and tell anyone about me— just stay right in that room. Order out, I don’t care what you do. But wait there and don’t tell anyone about me. Does everyone understand that? Jesus commanded them to go there— I command you to wait in the upper room. Why? He knew that without the anointing, their witness was not going to be good. Why? Because the bible says in Acts 1:8 that the Holy Spirit would come upon you and empower you and you would become what? Witnesses! Witnesses of what? The kingdom of God and the anointing! Go to Ephesians 3:14. For this reason, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might through his Spirit [or his anointing] in the inner man; that the anointing, or Christ, may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love [because that’s associated with the anointing], may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; to know the love of [the anointing] Christ, which passes knowledge, [Hello] that you might be filled with the fullness of God. Why? Because the anointing is God. Now to him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the [anointing] power that works in us. Go to 1 Corinthians 6:19, would you read it with me. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the [anointing] Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have of God, and you are not your own? For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. You are the temple of the anointing. I want to close at 1 John 4. The anointing overcomes everything. Without the anointing you are nothing. I don’t care how much of the word you have. Without the anointing, you are nothing. Does everybody understand that? We need to have the anointed word. The anointed word! Oh, you can quote scriptures and tell everyone about Jesus and not walk right. Still get sucked up in the world. Get caught up in the ring. Get caught up with anger, fear, anxiety and stress— break that anointing off of you. Speak things— break that anointing off of you. And the devil will eat you up! You become a bull’s eye, a neon sign that says, Here I am - Eat at Joe’s! In

verse 1, would you read it with me? Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world. But this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus is the anointed one and has come into the flesh is of God: And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus is the anointed one and has come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of the antichrist [or the anti-anointing], which you have heard is coming; and is even now already in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Father we thank you for your word tonight Master and Lord we repent for grieving the Holy Spirit in every area of our life. Lord we repent for coming against the anointing of our life. You said touch not my anointing— Lord we ask for the washing of the Blood and removal of all hindrance in our lives as we cast our cares upon you. Lord forgive us for works of the flesh and dead works. And we ask Lord that you increase your presence and anointing in our lives. Position us and establish us that your kingdom would be manifested. Let this seed grow and bear fruit for your glory, as we give you all glory and honor and praise. In Jesus’ name. And everybody said? AMEN! ****
