I, Ramona Yvette Roane, was born on October 25, 1990 at MCV hospital in Richmond, VA, to Angela Marie Burrell and Raymond

Charles Roane. After I was released from the hospital I went to live with my older sister Megan Burrell and my grandmother Fidella Young. I started school when I was 5-years-old. I went to kindergarten through fifth grade at Acquinton Elementary and while I was there, I won an award for perfect attendance. I also won an award for honor roll all six years. Then I attended Hamilton Holmes Middle School, and there I also won a couple of awards: one for perfect attendance and two for being named Student of the Year--one in sixth grade and the other in eighth grade. I then attended and graduated with honors from King William High School, there I received awards such as Who¶s Who In America, the National Honor Roll Society, I also was in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), SODA (Student Organization for Developing Attitudes), STAND (Students Taking A New Direction), and I was in the National Honor Society. I am now a freshman at Norfolk State University. After I get my B.A. in Political Science I plan on attending law school.

Life to me means friends and family who you can trust and who trust you. Being a freshman in college and being on my own is really hard for me, especially since I¶m spoiled and used to getting everything done for me, but it really is a good learning experience and it¶s helping me become more of an adult. I still go home every weekend but that¶s only because I miss my family and friends a lot. In my life time I¶ve had 3 different jobs my first job was at a place called Avid Medical. I worked there as a summer intern my junior year in high school. My second job I worked as a hostess at Ruby Tuesday and my last job I worked at McDonalds, where I¶m currently still employed.
