Being part of the Technolympics team was a great honor for me, travelling to other places I’ve never

been
into was a bonus. Me, together with other Technolympics participants went all the way from Compostela Cebu
to Asturias to take part on the Technolympics Division Level. Pressure was what we all felt while staying at our
headquarters. After the contest, the teachers decided that we should destress and relax after the long tiring days.
We immediately went to Asturias beach which was already planned before coming into the contest venue. In the
plan, we considered the weather and the clothes we get to change. We also checked the durability and security
of the place before going to stay to ensure everyone’s safety. Excitements were evident in the faces on each one
of us.

We did not waste any time and immediately dived through the waters. After a while, the teachers called
us to eat our lunch. Everyone grabbed a food and make themselves full. We segregated and packed our garbage
first before going back to the water. We were not making any loud noises to respect the other guests swimming
at the beach.

When the bus texted that he was already in the headquarters, the teachers called us out and instructed us
to stop swimming. We changed our wet clothes and put it into a plastic bag. We took a good look at the beach for
the very last time. We did not take the things that were not ours and left the beauty of nature to what it was before
we arrived. We got back to our headquarters, prepared our bags to put in the bus. Finally, after 4 long days of fun,
excitement and success; our team went back to our hometown bringing home the bacon.
