My relationship with God It must be remembered by every person who works at a church that church is not just a corporation

or business. While many operations of the church must be run in a businesslike manner, and much can be learned from the business world. There will be business to attend, money to be handled, buildings to work on, but the focus of your work is not profit, it’s people. Businessmen focus on profit or earthly gain, but Christians should be about the father’s business and must have the touch of God.
John 4:24

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in

truth. With out the touch of God “ unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it.” Psalm 127 1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 1). Friend or foe. A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

3). Believe in him in your relationship Matthew 14 16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. 17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. 18 He said, Bring them hither to me. 19And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. 21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children. The miracle happened in the disciple’s hands! 4). Give unto Others as God leads you. 1 Kings 17 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink. 11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. 2 Kings 4 2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. 3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. 4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. 5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. 6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. The miracle happened in there hands. 5). What time is it (change or stay) For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matthew 16:26

For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.
Acts 6:14

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Corinthians 15:52

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 3:18

A Friend will know more about you in one conversation than an acquaintance will know in a lifetime. A wise man once said “ No prayer, no power – Little prayer, little power – Much prayer, much power.

Your relationship with God necessitates a time of self-examination, a time of allowing God to speak to you. The clay is of no use to the potter if it cannot be molded to his wishes. You will never reach a place with God where you are perfected to the point that He no longer has to shape you. We must ever here His voice. Three main ways in which God may speak to us. 1. 2. 3. Prayer Reading and meditating in His word Spoken work in addition to regular church attendance and teaching and preaching tapes

Let God speak to you.

God won't ask what kind of car you drove, but will ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation. God won't ask the square footage of your house, but will ask how many people you welcomed into your home. God won't ask about the fancy clothes you had in your closet, but will ask how many of those clothes helped the needy. God won't ask about your social status, but will ask what kind of class you displayed. God won't ask how many material possessions you had, but will ask if they dictated your life. God won't ask what your highest salary was, but will ask if you compromised your character to obtain that salary. God won't ask how much overtime you worked, but will ask if you worked overtime for your family and loved ones. God won't ask how many promotions you received, but will ask how you promoted others. God won't ask what your job title was, but will ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability. God won't ask what you did to help yourself, but will ask what you did to help others. God won't ask what you did to protect your rights, but will ask what you did to protect the rights of others. God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, but will ask how you treated your neighbors. God won't ask about the color of your skin, but will ask about the content of your character. God won't ask how many times your deeds matched your words, but will ask how many times they didn't. God won't ask how many friends you had, but will ask how many people to whom you were a true friend.
