Instructions by part
PART 1:
Score all the lines that need folding. Cut out the small
hole (see the picture if you can’t find it) and then cut the
part loose of the paper. Glue it together to form the main
hull.
There be holes here!
PART 2:
Cut out the small hole on this part and glue it to part 1
around the small hole.

PARTS 3-8:
Cut out the holes on parts 3 and 4, then glue these parts
together. Glue parts 5 and 6 back-to-back just below the
eye of the anchor, sandwiching parts 3 and 4. Glue parts
7 and 8 back-to-back as if the rope is going through the
eye. Don’t glue the white ends together though, as these
are tabs that need to be folded outwards (see the next
step).

CONTINUED:
Push the rope (parts 7 and 8) through the hole on part 1.
Once the white ends are through, fold these
upwards/downwards and put some glue on them. Then
pull the anchor back, gluing the tabs on the inside of part
1.

PART 9:
Cut out part 9 and glue it to the main hull (with the
Ninjatoes’ papercraft webpage logo on the outside of
course ;o).

Part 10:
Cut out part 10 and glue it right down the middle of part
9 to form the deck-shape later on.

Parts 11-13:
Glue these parts together and then glue them at the stern
to close the hull.

PARTS 14-19:
Cut out the hole on part 14, score all the lines that need
folding and glue part 15, 16 and 17 (don’t forget to cut
out the holes) around the doors an windows. Then score,
cut out and fold and glue parts 18 and 19 to the main
deck (this may not be an exact fit but don’t worry about
it, you’ll hardly notice it after the model is finished). This
way the main deck already gets some of its form and
that’s what we want…

PARTS 20:
…when we glue the main deck to the main hull. Use part
10 to form the deck further. Then score, cut out and fold
and glue part 20 and part 20 (don’t ask…) in place,
wrapping around parts 18 and 19.

PART 21:
Score, cut out and fold and glue the curls on part 21
together…

CONTINUED:
…and then glue it to the back of the ship, closing the final
gap between the main hull and the main deck at the stern
and sliding the two curls over parts 18 and 19.

PARTS 22-23:
Score all the lines that need folding on part 22 and cut
out the hole on part 23. Cut out the parts and glue them
together as indicated.

PART 24:
Score all the lines that need folding, cut out the part and
glue them to the bottom of part 23 as indicated in the
picture.

PART 25:
Score and cut out part 25 and glue it in place to close the
bottom of the aft deck.

PART 26:
Cut out part 26 and glue it to the top of the aft deck at
the indicated place.

CONTINUED:
Now glue the aft deck to the main deck.

PART 27:
Score and cut out part 27. Glue the curls together like on
part 21 and glue this part to the front of the ship at the
indicated place. Let the curls slide over parts 18 and 19
again.

PART 28:
Cut out part 28 and glue it to the bow of the ship, closing
up the curls on each side of the ship.

PARTS 29-31:
Cut out the hole and score and cut out part 29 and glue it
together. Cut out parts 30 and 31 (don’t forget to cut out
the holes) and glue them around the door and windows.

PARTS 32a-38b:
Ah, Nami’s mikan (oranges/tangerines). Score and cut
out the parts and glue them together as you go (a and b
are sets obviously). Then glue the parts to the roof of
part 29 at the indicated spaces.

CONTINUED:
Glue the finished cabin to the main/aft deck at the
indicated place (see the picture).

PARTS 39-40:
Score and cut out parts 39 and 40. Fold in the sides of
part 39 and make steps of part 40.

CONTINUED:
Glue the back of the upper step to the back of part 39
and then form the stairs.

PARTS 41-50:
All the stairs come together in the same way, so
assemble them all and glue them at the indicated places
(don’t forget the door on part 45).
As for parts 41, 44 and 48: score these, cut them out and
fold them on a 90º angle and then glue them at the
indicated places.

PARTS 51-60:
This is how you assemble a piece of
railing. In this case, cut out parts 51
and 52 (and all the holes) and glue
them back to back in a semi-circle
shape with the largest part (51) on the
outside. Glue the parts (put some glue on the edge) to
the back of the ship, on the aft deck (in the center of part
26). Do the same with parts 53 and 54 (glue these to the
right of the cabin.
Now cut out parts 55 and 56 and glue them back to back.
Glue these on top of parts 51 and 52. Do the same with
parts 57 and 58 (glue these on top of parts 53 and 54.
Now cut out parts 59 and 60 and glue them together.
Then glue these endposts at the indicated places on part
26.
PARTS 61-66:
Cut these parts out and glue them back to back. Parts 61
and 62 go in front of the cabin, the angled parts 63 and
64 go on top of the stairs there.
Part 66 is longer than part 65: roll up the excess in a curl
as indicated in the picture. Then glue this piece on top of
parts 61 through 64.

CONTINUED:
Assemble the rest of the railings and glue them into place
(see the picture) and hook the anchor behind the
endpost.

PART 79:
Cut out part 79 and glue it into a cylinder. Slot this lower
mast into the hole in the main deck (line up the slits with
part 10).

PART 80:
Cut out part 80 and glue it into a cone-shape. Glue this
piece on top of the lower mast.

PART 81:
Cut out part 81 and form it into a cylinder. Slide this
upper mast through parts 80 and 79 and slot it onto part
10 using the slits. The white parts should be entirely
covered now by parts 79 and 80.

PART 87:
Part 87 should be printed on a transparent sheet. Score
the part and cut it out on the outer black lines (e.g. cut
the outer black lines off the piece).

CONTINUED:
Then glue the top of this piece to the mast and the
bottom parts of this piece at the indicated places on part
21 (indicated by two small black lines).

PARTS 88-91:
Cut out parts 88 and 89 and glue them back-to-back.
Now cut out parts 90 ad 91 and glue them together with
a overlap (see the picture). Make a ring-like shape (with
part 90 on the inside) and glue the piece on top of part
89 (put some glue on the edge).

CONTINUED:
Glue the whole assembly on top of the mast and the
transparent part 87.

PART 92:
Cut out and roll and glue part 92 into a cone and glue it
at the indicated place of part 89.

PART 93:
Score and cut part 93 and fold and glue it double.make
sure to open up the tabs at the top and bottom to…

CONTINUED:
…glue Luffy’s pirate flag on the indicated place on top of
the mast.

PARTS 82 & 85-86:

Cut out part 82 and roll and glue it into a cylinder. There
should be a semi-circle left out in the middle.
Cut out parts 85 and 86 and glue them on either side to
close the cilinder.

PARTS 83-84:
Cut out parts 83 and 84 and glue them back-to-back
(with part 83 in front). While the glue is still wet, form the
sail to create the illusion of wind blowing into it…

CONTINUED:
Glue the piece onto the indicated places on part 82 using
the rope-like tabs on part 83.

CONTINUED:
Now glue the whole sail-assembly onto the mast just
below the crow’s nest at the indicated place using the
tabs at the left-out semi-circle on part 83 (don’t worry,
it’ll hold).

PART 94:
Cut and glue part 94 into a cone and glue it on part 25
through the hole in part 23 on the aft deck.

95 & 98-99:
Assemble these parts just like parts 82 and 85-86.

PARTS 96-97:
Cut out these parts and glue them back-to-back, again
forming them while the glue is still wet to create the
illusion of wind blowing into the sails.

CONTINUED:
Glue this sail onto part 95 using the rope-like tabs like
you did earlier with the large sail.

CONTINUED:
Now glue this sail assembly onto the aft-mast at the
indicated place, but at an angle this time.
Cut out part 100 and make it into a second pirate flag to
go on top of this mast too (see the picture).

PARTS 101-102:
Cut out parts 101 and 102 and glue them together like in
the picture.

Part 103:
Cut out and glue part 103 to the front of the previous
assembly like in the picture.

PART 104:
Cut out and glue part 104 to the bottom of the previous
assembly like in the picture.

PART 105:
Cut out and glue part 105 to the top of the previous
assembly like in the picture.

CONTINUED:
Now glue this whole assembly to the bow of the ship.
Follow the shape of the black shape at the front and make
part 101 curl up towards the white skirting board (part
28).

PARTS 106-108:
Cut out part 106 and shape it into a “melon”-like shape.
This is a hard part because it’s quite small but it’s worth
taking the time to do it correctly…
Once you succeeded in making the head, cut out parts
107 and 108 and form these into the horns. Glue these at
the indicated places on top of the head. Now glue the
whole head onto part 105 like in the picture.

PARTS 109-118:
It’s quite obvious where all these parts go, so these
shouldn’t give you much trouble. Just cut them out and
glue them at the designated places.

125-127:
Cut out part 125 and roll and glue it into a cylinder. Do
the same with part 126, which makes into a slightly
larger cylinder (and with a slightly larger bottom). Slide
part 125 into part 126 until the white parts are covered
and then cut out and glue part 127 on part 125. Now glue
this whole assembly at the indicated place on the bow of
the ship (parts 119-121 and 122-124 are roughly the
same, except that the gun consists of only one part).

PARTS 128-132:
Cut and glue part 128 into a triangular shape (the wide
side is the bottom). Cut and glue part 129 at the
indicated place. Cat and glue part 130 into a rudder-
shape an dglue it to part 129. Glue part 131 at the
indicated place on part 130. Cut out and glue the parts
132 at the indicated places of part 128 and 130.
Now glue the whole rudder-assembly at the back of the
ship.

PARTS 133-136:
Make a U-shape of part 133 and glue parts 134 and 135
at either side. Glue part 136 on the inside.

PARTS 137-140:
Now assemble the gun by shaping and gluing parts 137
and 138 into cylinders and part 139 into a semi-sphere.
Slide part 137 into part 138 and slide part 139 over the
end of part 138. Glue part 140 onto part 137 and glue
this assembly onto the gunbase.
Glue the wheels together (four sets of parts 141 and 142
glue back-to-back) and glue these to the bottom of the
gunbase.

FINISHED:
Glue the cannon in place on the aft deck or leave it as it
is: that’s up to you!
