Why Storytelling?

People not technology

What is a Digital Story?

Digital Stories are short personal films that people can make for themselves using their own photographs, imagination and inspiration.

What is a Digital Story?

Digital Stories are short personal films that people can make for themselves using their own photographs, imagination and inspiration. Digital stories help people to become creators, owners and publishers of their own media. It just so happens that the easiest way to do this is using digital technologies.

The free and sustainable DS Recipe..
In this way we aim to leave a skills legacy PLUS a software legacy that we continue to support through extended facilitation, advice and guidance where needed Due to the nature of these ingredients, if you have access to a cake tin, (any tin will do, you don't need a special silicone one, or an adjustable one with a removable bottom) plus permission to use it, you can make your own cake-baking DS workshops whenever you want: it's sustainable and promotes digital inclusion.

BE A TINKERER...
“Tinkering is what happens when you try something you don't quite know how to do, guided by whim, imagination and curiosity. When you tinker there are no instructions – but there are also no failures, no right or wrong ways of doing things. It's about figuring out how things work and reworking them. Tinkering is at it's most basic, a process that marries play and inquiry.” From an exhibition at the Exploratorium SF

BE A TINKERER...
