~1 MEL 0 DIE RNA -, @ SANGOARA

Tonmaterialet sr i huvudsak hsmtat fran tonartens egna toner.

EXEMPEL pa mycket sangbara melodier:

- Just once (Quincy Jones - "the Dude")

- Smile again (t~anhattan Transfer - "Mecca for

moderns II)

- T hr 0 ugh the fir e (C h a k a K a h n - "I fee I for' you" )

®IKOMPPRYLARI~

Manga melodier, speciellt i refrangerna sr narapa mer en sorts kompfigur an en melodi. Rytmen och tonernas harmoniska funktion ar ofta viktigare an den melodiska aspekten.

EXEMPEL pa r-efranger uppbyggda av "kompfigurer": - All right (Christopher Cross - "Another page")

- Look who's lonely now (Randy Crawford - "Secret combination"."Bill Labounty")

- Trouble in paradise (AI Jarreau - "Jarreau")

- Mornin'(dito)

@ SEKVENSBASERADE

- Just once (Quincy Jones - "The Dude")

- Sec ret com bin a t ion (R andy era \~ for d - " 5 e ere t c.")

4 ) 2 ACKORD)

f = F-dur med G-dur som overlagrad treklang.

BD Ic k a l La r vi for C11

B~maj7/C kallar vi for C11add13 C7add6 kallar vi for C13

~ Harmonisering av durskalan

I likhet med den mesta vasterlandska musiken bygger den "s 1 i c k a" h arm 0 n ike n pad u r s k a I an. t'l e n jam for t med t.ex. visgenren anvander man 4- och 5-klanger istallet for 3-klanger.

All the things you are, Autumn leaves)

Typiskt ar ocksA ovjntade kadenser inom tonartens ram.

@ 11-ackordet

I kadenser ken man lAta 11 fcilja pa 11.

- BI~sriff/fills ligger nastan uteslutande i "h~len".

Bedomningen i slick/SUPERSLICK ar kanske annu mer subjektiv.
