Donor Milk Only Available for NICU Population -
UNC REX HEALTHCARE

Resolution

• To start, donor milk only

available for newborns in NICU

• Throughout the course of this

initiative, we started offering it to
infants of parents who did not
want to give formula when
supplementation was
necessary.

• Ongoing work in progress to be

able to offer it to all LPI/SGA
infants to start with, in hopes of
expanding to any infant needing
supplementation whose parents
desires exclusive breastmilk-
feeding.
