Over the past few years, the Human Resources function within Rolls-Royce plc has radically changed to provide all employees with easier direct access to HR Services. When you join Rolls Royce, you will be issued with a password for HR online. HR online is an online IT tool that allows you to find information relating to you as an employee to Rolls Royce such as corporate HR policies. In addition it allows you to carry out certain tasks yourself such updating personal details and booking your annual leave from the Company. As well as HR online, we also have the Rolls-Royce HR Shared Service Centre (HR SSC). The HR SSC is there for all employees to call when you need some HR advice that you were unable to find on HR online. The people in the HR SSC are Rolls-Royce HR professionals offering support and specialist advice by phone and by email. The HRSSC is open from 8:00a.m till 5:00p.m Monday to Friday.

HR Business Partner Facility of the Future (Singapore) Responsibilities: Business Overview: Rolls-Royce recently announced the establishment of a new facility in Singapore to assemble and test large Civil engines, starting with the Trent 1000 for the Boeing 787 and the Trent XWB for the Airbus A350 XWB. The new facility provides an opportunity to create a modern "factory of the future" and represents an important step forward in the development of the Trent programme and in the Company s wider relationship with Singapore. The new facility will be located in an Aerospace Park at Seletar in the north of Singapore and will be fully operational by the end of 2009. It will employ up to 330 people depending on customer demand and will receive support from the Singapore Economic Development Board. Job Specification: As a member of the Red Dot Leadership team, this role will lead the people and organisation workstream from the outset of the new facility design and implementation through to the day-to-day running of the facility. You will take the lead on establishing the right leadership team, organisation structure and culture to embed lean principles in the facility.
