PeopleSoft Fit Gap and Upgrade Project Manager OVERVIEW OF ROLE Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Director of Projects, the Project Manager wil l be responsible for managing and directing the execution of a fit gap analysis in preparation for a version upgrade of PeopleSoft (including HR, Payroll, and B ase Benefits modules) from v 8.9 to v 9.1 along with the addition of new functio nality. Management of the subsequent upgrade effort is likely. This would include managing the definition, development, delivery and deployment of a quality solution to meet Business Unit (BU) customer needs (including chan ges to agreed requirements) and that are compatible with business drivers define d by the business. The Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Detailed experience and expertise requirements and preferences appear below, but key is experience managing a PeopleSoft upgrade that included payroll in a comp lex union environment and a high degree of customization. Reports to: VP of Program Management and Project Sponsor Manages: Project team members report directly into their appropriate Manager or Senior Ma nager from an Employee Relations perspective.
