AWC was hoping to use the spring semester as a way to involve more students. With future events such as
movie screenings, tabling, guest speakers, and collaborative communication workshops, recruiting came to an
abrupt end.
Many students were looking forward to the new events. “Although I’m a senior, I know the younger members
are working hard to focus on recruiting events for the fall semester,” says Mariah Jurrow, AWC member.
The goal of the semester was to show the campus what AWC has to offer their student’s in engaging and unique
way. “Right now, we are just making sure everyone is staying safe and trying to focus on the future of the
organization,” Jurrow says.
