OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, the students 1) Will have covered usage of conditional in the sentences. 2) Will have improved their ear-training. 3) Will have improved their listening skills by hearing the conversation between two friends. 4) Will have recognized the formality in the lawyer and formal - informal speaking in the abroad. WARM-UP Time: 3 min. Materials: Pictures Interaction: T/Ss ± Ss/Ss What students do: Students look at the pictures and say what happens in each picture. Grouping: Whole class Aims: - To motivate students to get to the topic. - To draw the students¶ interest and attention to the topic. STEPS 1) The teacher shows some pictures related with the topic. 2) The teacher wants students to explain what is happening in each picture. 3) The teacher listens to the sts¶ comments and stick the summarises of the answers on the board. WHILE LISTENING Time: 9 min. Materials: Handouts, Pictures. Interaction: T/Ss ± Ss/Ss What students do: The students are asked to listen to the text and understand the topic clearly. Grouping: Whole class. Aims: - To have students understand the listening context clearly.

FIRST LISTENING (4 min.) AIMS:

To get the students to understand the text in general, To provide students to catch the main idea of listening text.

STEPS 1) The teacher gives handouts and envelops to the students. 2) The teacher wants students to put the pictures and words in the correct order according to the text. 3) The students listen to the text and catch the words and put them or der. 4) After listening to the text, teacher checks the answers.

SECOND LISTENING (5 min.) AIMS: - To get the students to understand the text in detail - To help students to cover the listening text. STEPS 1) Teacher gives handouts to the students and wants them to read the sentences uncompleted. 2) After students look at the sentences, they listen to the text again to find the correct answers. 3) After listening, teacher wants students to take the pictures which are on the correct choices and stick them to chart according to their number. 4) Students turn to their partners and compare their answers with their partners. POST LISTENING Time: 3 min. Materials: cards Interaction: Ss/Ss ± T/Ss What students do: students discuss the situations. Grouping: Whole class Aims: - To encourage students to use authentic language - To encourage them to improve their speaking skills. STEPS 1) Teacher wants students to work with their partners. 2) Teacher gives situation cards to the students. 3) In each card, there are two people like in the text. 4) Students read their situations and write a dialogue. 5) Then they act out their dialogues.
