The Morris & Essex Kennel Club Art Show is a National Juried Fine Arts Competition Celebrating the Purebred Dog and the Spirit of the Morris & Essex Kennel Club Dog Show
About the Show: Every five years, the Morris & Essex Kennel Club brings back the legacy of Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge's grand and elegant dog show held from 1927 through 1957. This year, the show is held on October 7, 2010 in Colonial Park, Somerset, NJ. The Morris & Essex Kennel Club Art Show invites artists whose works depict purebred dogs to exhibit their work at this exciting show. The Art Show proceeds will benefit the AKC Canine Health Foundation, Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, Take the Lead, and The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Each award winner will receive a rosette and display at the Morris & Essex Kennel Club Show in a place of honor. In addition, the winner of Best in Show at the Morris & Essex Kennel Club Art Show will be exhibited at the William Secord Gallery , the world’s leading gallery of dog art, in NYC during Westminster Week, 2011 Juror: Mr. William Secord of the William Secord Gallery, NYC
