1. About NLDC 2011

National Leadership Development Conference

(NLDC) is an annual national conference of AIESEC
Vietnam held in the winter break. Its main object
is to create a great learning experience that helps
participants discover and develop their leadership
potential.

Next January, NLDC will bring over 200 AIESECers

from all over Vietnam and other countries along
with 10 national partners together in Hanoi. For
a period of six days, AIESECers at various stages
of development will receive sufficient training in
professional skills - such as leadership and
management; moreover, they will have a chance
to build up a diverse network and take their
ownership to drive the growth of AIESEC Vietnam.

Khoang Xanh - Suoi Tien lies in the center valley of
Venue
Ba Vi mountain at an altitude of 400 meters above
sea level. It is surrounded by mountains and imposing

forests, has Suoi Tien (Fairy Spring) under legendary
Tan mountain. There are dreamy falls above the upper
falls such as Dream fall, Flower fall, Tran fall (overflowing fall),
Raspberry fall flowing down from the mountains to create
high and low sound like the fanciful nature warmly welcomes
guests. They all bring a natural landscape with a wild
and precise look of mountain area.

Transportation & Pick-up Services

NLDC 2011 will have bus taking all delegates from Developing
Leadership Day venue to the Conference Site at Khoang Xanh.
The more details of stop bus and DLD's venue will be announced
soon. For delegates who come late after 16th and go back early Location:
before 21st January 2011 will pay your transportation fee by It's 60km from Hanoi to Son Tay,
yourselves. You can catch the public bus 201 from to Kim Ma Khoang Xanh - Suoi Tien belongs
bus-stop to Son Tay Province and then catch taxi or “Xe Ôm” for to Van Hoa commune,Ba Vi District
17km more to Khoang Xanh. In this case, please contact OC Logistics and locates beautifully on an area
or OC Promotion & Delagate for detail direction. of a primitive forest.

Standard Delegate Fee.

Note: All payment could be either in VND or USD and shall

be collected by heads of delegations in advance.
Total delegation fee then have to be submitted to OC VPF

3. Night Parities
When nights are on, it is time for parties, parties of games and competitions.
NLDC 2011 honorably welcomes all delegates to the 4 consecutive amazing nights.
Yellow Night---Athletic Tournament---Power of Unity---Beyond the limit of gender (Mr & Ms)

Night 1: Yellow night

Again, for the very 1st time in the history of AIESEC Vietnam,
an EATING contest will be held. It is time for you to challenge
your stomach with the most weird yellow food and beverages ever.
Let's see who will be crowned as the winner!

Requirement: All delegates need to cover at least 40% their body

by yellow color to be able to participate in all sessions of this party night.
If anyone covers less than 20% will definitely receive punishment.

Night 2: Athletic Tournament

Challenge your stamina, your agility and your speed with the very 1st
Sports Olympic Festival ever held in AIESEC Vietnam national Conference.
Unique, crazy but joyful sports games are what you can expect.
Please equip yourself with enough power & enthusiasm.

Night 3: Power of Unity

It is the time when the power of unity must be demonstrated, where

team spirit must be expressed, because in front of you will be the most
severe team building games ever.

Night 4: Mr & Ms - “Beyond the limit of gender”

One of the most impressive traditional and unique party nights of AIESEC
Vietnam in every national conference. NLDC 2011 surely will be the time for
the gentlemen and ladies to challenge their genders but with the brand
new format. Dozens of leggy, stylish and beautiful candidates will be
required to pass 4 rounds of the contest including:
Photo-shoots ---Top model Catwalk---Talent Performance--- Interview
…but only two will be crowned with the title “Miss&Mr AIESEC Vietnam 2011”
However, do not forget to bring along with the super high-heels, luxurious
costumes for our ladies together with your own make-up artists and stylist &
prepare an only 5minute talent performance.
Remember that in NLDC 2011, MODELLING is emphasized.
Last but never least is punishment, a vital part of AIESEC life.
Never should you get yourself into the black list, or else we will make you
hope that you had not!

4.Accommodation
Home-stay in Hanoi
OC will support all delegates from Ho Chi Minh and international
delegates to find home stay with AIESEC members in Hanoi and
hostel if you like. Delegates are responsible for their own hostel cost.

For Hanoi delegates, this is the chance for you to expand your
network , strengthen friendship with AIESEC friends from Ho Chi Minh
and international . And they will be willing to host you when you join
Conference in Ho Chi Minh.

Climate
Vietnam has a tropical climate, which is characterized by lots of sunshine, Information
high rainfall,humidity and two distinguished seasons in general: the cold
and dry one from November to April and the other, hot and wet from
May to October. Annual average temperatures range from 22ºC to 27ºC.
But the weather usually varies North and South, as between land and
mountains.

Currency
The currency is Vietnamese Dong (VND). Foreign currencies can be
exchanged at the banks, exchange bureaus or hotel reception desks.
Travelers' cheque and most of Credit cards are accepted in the major
cities. We are recommend that you bring some cash with you. Check

Time zone: GMT/UTC + 7 (the same zone as Thailand, Laos and Cambodia)

Museums are usually closed on Monday but you can visit temples and
pagodas every day. Most restaurants and shops open from 08h00 till 22h00.

Taxi: Taxis with meters are available in big cities. The current price is about
US$ 0.7 per kilometre. Most metered taxi drivers can speak a little English.
