2010 Annual Balance from Series & TV

This is the time of the year when balances are made.

We cannot be the exception.

I am the author and editor at Series And TV (dot com) a quarter million monthly US hits site in the
entertainment niche.

The site covers entertainment industry and shows news, and has a focus on contents for actors and
industry related people, with resources such as casting calls, audition dates and venues, tips, and
interviews, among other TV and Series related content. It also covers Book Reviews, Film News,
Theatre Auditions, Studios and Theme Parks Information, etcetera.

Series And TV started in January 2009 as a nice little enthusiastic project by a Television Fan, and
a side project to my company, but eventually grew enough as to be two person full-time job.

In these two years, the growth of the site has been notorious, starting on January 2009 on 14,000
monthly visits, to a quarter million this December, and the growth trend keeps going, planning to
reach Half a Million monthly visitor by this time next year.

What´s Next?
This upcoming 2011 we are trying to expand further more our site and add more featured pieces,
and enhance our relations with studios, shows, theme parks, networks and MKT and PR agencies
working with Entertainment.

Contests And Giveaways

On October 2010, we launched our first Contest for Readers where they could win a Psych Gift
Pack. Folks at USA Network and History Channel helped us develop this category further with two
more Contests for November and December.
In 2011, we are already planning our first two contests for January.

Interviews
We are trying to expand our participation in Conference Calls, Q&A with actors and writers, have
more Interviews via Twitter and much more.

Traffic Goals
We want to reach the half a million monthly visitors milestone by this time next year.

Episodic Previews and Buzz Creating

We want to watch the shows and talk about them. We want to list the best quotes, best one-
liners, and help creating buzz for good shows. Anything we can do to help good shows avoid
cancellation, we´ll do it!

Our First Web Documentary
We are planning on doing (May and June 2011) a Three Part Web-Documentary and multi-article
story on "How to Make it in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York", that covers the life of a
person who arrives to one of those cities for the first time, and where are the places he/she needs
to visit, where to arrange industry related meetings, how to take care of him/herself when
booking an agent or auditions, where are the best options to stay if planning a short or mid-term
stay, transportation lines, and a whole lot. (Most of the thing would be featured as text in the site,
and the story will be featured through a series of short videos and interviews as a "webumentary"
about the whole project investigation.

• We are planning on actually going all those places and do the things someone trying to
make it there should do.
• We will visit Studios, Theme Parks, Casting Agencies; we will meet other struggling actors,
writers, web series creators, crew members, journalists.
• We will look for the best places to stay, to visit, to eat, to leave your resume and more.
• We want to watch tapings, live shows, go on tours, and show the “must” places for the
entertainment industry.
• We want to have Round Tables with Web Series Creators and Actors to understand the
challenges they face to “Make It”.
• We want to have the opinion of those who “Made it” so they can tip the newcomers.
• We want to show the beauty of those cities and good vibe of people while we are at it.

We will be sending our One Guy Cast and Crew on a One Month Journey to try and Make it In Los
Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
Starting in May 6th at LAX, it´s a two week journey in La La Land to experience first-hand every
challenge newcomers who want to be the next big thing in Entertainment face. After that, a one
week journey in The Big Apple where the challenges may be different but nonetheless big in a big
city. Finally, the three part trip (and webumentary) finishes in San Francisco, the entrepreneurial
promised land, with yet another week trying to make it.

How Can You Help Us Accomplish Our
Goals For 2011?
Send us good shows stuff
We are all about helping good shows, but there´s only so much we can do with the information we
can gather by watching them and surfing the web. You can send us Show´s information, updates,
spoilers and much more at Guillermo @ seriesandtv.com

Invite us to Conference Calls and Interviews with talent and writers

We want to be a part of all those conference calls, or have the transcripts from them so we can dig
in there for information and article material.

Send us Screener links to watch episodes and previews

We are all into creating and helping with the show´s buzz. The best way for us to do it is by
knowing what´s coming up. We are very good teasers in that way.

Let us Give Away some of your show´s stuff in our Contests

Do you have show´s gift packs? DVD´s? T-Shirts? Anything? Let us give them away to our readers!

Help us with our Documentary

We need a place to stay in those cities, where to eat, we need invitations to parks, studios, shows,
we need to schedule interviews, we could use sponsors and endorsement.

Spread the Word
