Introduction:
A mobile marketplace for local services ranging from tutoring to gardening, where a customer
can hire a local professional for all their service needs in a seamless and cost-effective way. With
my vision, I would like to make any local services affordable by eliminating middlemen with
transparent assistance.

Problem:
The local service marketplace in most of the cities and towns are dominated by Local service
providers by concentration in a specific field of service. With this, the end-user and contractor
workers have been exploited by overcharging and underpaying respectively.

Solution:
A mobile application which would provide all kind of local services at one place which can
connect users and professionals in a transparent and cost-effective way.

Market Validation:
There almost 37,411,047 adult population in Canada and 70,000 adult population in Kamloops
who are potential users to use our platform. On personally interviewing 20 Local people
(Age>18) in Kamloops 14 people told, “Yes, they faced problems with the current local services
system, and they would like to explore cheaper options if available”.

Market Size:
As per Canadian Industry Statistics ( CIS ) the market size of service sector primarily engaged in
repairing, or performing general or routine maintenance, on motor vehicles, machinery,
equipment and other products to ensure that they work efficiently; providing personal care
services, laundry services and other services to individuals, such as pet care services and photo
finishing services; organizing and promoting religious activities; supporting various causes
through grant-making, advocating (promoting) various social and political causes, and promoting
and defending the interests of their members constitutes to $ 313.4 thousand in Canada with an
average of $ 188.8 thousand.

Product plan:
Once a user installs the app the user is required to signup by providing some basic details about
himself including postal code which will be used as a key to display a sorted the list of Local
partners available in his/her location. A user is privileged to select the list of available
professionals available in each category based on ratings and review. Once a request has been
generated by a specific user the service is scheduled accordingly.

Business Model:
We charge 10% commission from contract partner on every transaction and also, through
advertising on our platform.
