Dear AAW Employees,

For the wellbeing of AAW employees, AAW Company is delighted to provide with the best benefits of 2020-2021
Medical Insurance Schemes, which will be valid to use from May 1, 2020 until April 30, 2021. The features of
medical insurance plans and rates are outlined in the below timetable. For further details, please read carefully the
attached document of “Tables of Benefits (TOBs)” that thoroughly clarifies all the covered and non-covered services
in each policy plan. Note that we have changed the insurance company from Boubyan Takaful to KFH Takaful.

Please be notified that:

All AAW Employees will be enrolled in the “Basic Plan” automatically, unless they
request to upgrade it to any of the available higher ones.

Basic Plan coverage can be used at the hospital network, listed in the attached
document, in 2020-2021.
The current enrollments of last year will not be renewable by default, therefore, each
and every employee of AAW needs to submit a new request of upgrading his plan to
any of the higher ones, available in 2020-2021 Medical Insurance Schemes.

All AAW Employees are eligible for dependents’ coverage, given that they should be
enrolled in the same plan with no exceptions.
“Dependents are only father, mother, children, and/or spouse.”

The open enrollment period will conclude on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 4:00 PM, so,
please feel encouraged to complete the process sooner than the mentioned date.

Employees who are not able to submit the enrollment data before the above-
mentioned time, will have only one month chance to add dependents, and/or upgrade
his/her plan. This will eventually cause a delay in receiving the requested insurance
card.

Requests of upgrading, downgrading, and/or addition of new dependent(s) are


unacceptable by the insurance provider after May 31, 2020. However, deletion is
accepted anytime during the year.

Deletion request after utilizing the medical card for at least one time, will refund
nothing of whatsoever fees spent in the hospital. In case the card was not utilized at all,
then the fees will be paid pro rata.

Kindly read the attached document of the table of benefits before making your plan
choice.

Any employee wishes to upgrade his/her plan and/or wishes to add their spouse/children/parents to the
policy, need to use the file of “Insurance Upgrade/Addition” attached to this email payroll@aaw.com.
