Please register there with your BTU-Account. Please remember to always logout after each session. This avoids the misuse of data by third parties. For safety reasons please close the browser completely. Registered examinations or withdrawals are saved by the system. They do not have to be repeated. The feature for the online study certificates is open for all current students of the BTU. The requirement for the authentication is a valid BTU account. 2.1.2 Where can I request my administrative documents online? You can request the administrative documents from every computer with internet access. Please use: www.tu-cottbus.de > Students > Self-Service Functions > Administrative Documents You cannot use this feature from the computers in the terminal room in the main building, room 0.27. Students studying a modularized programme can register for and withdraw from examinations online. A detailed overview of all degree programmes for which an online examination registration or withdrawal is possible, can be found here: www.tu-cottbus.de > Students > Self-service-functions > Registering for Examinations 4.1.2 Where can I register online? You can register online for examinations at the computer terminals in the main building, room 0.27 or with every computer inside or outside of the BTU that has access to the internet. The access portals for the examination registration and the online transcript of records are identical. To register online for an examination you need a valid BTU-Account. The account is used for authentication. The foundation of your degree programme is examination regulation. You can only register online for a module examination if this is in accordance to your examination regulation. You can find your examination regulation on following homepage: www.tu-cottbus.de > Students > Regulations and Forms > Examination and Study Regulations 4.1.4 When do I have to register online? You have to register bindingly for module examinations during the first three weeks of the lecture period. A withdrawal is possible until the end of the seventh week of the lecture period. After this period a withdrawal (in written form) is only possible in reasonable cases at the student secretariat. Should an online registration not be possible, please contact the student secretariat immediately during office hours. Exempted from the regulations are repetition examinations (1st or 2nd examination failed). Please register for a repetition examination at least one week ahead of the examination date in the student secretariat. 4.1.5 For which Examinations can I register online? Generally an online registration is possible for all modules of an examination regulation. Exempted from this are the final thesis and study assignments and projects and additional modules. You can only register for these and for repeat examinations (1st or 2nd examination failed) at the student secretariat. Tick off “I accept”.  Click on “Next“. In the column “process” you can check again if you are registering for or withdrawing from the examination. Students studying a modularized programme can obtain their transcript of records online for the degree programme they are currently doing. 5.1.2 Where can I find my Grades online? You can obtain your transcript of records at the computer terminals in the main building, room 0.27 or with every computer inside or outside of the BTU that has access to the internet. To access the portal, please use following internet address: www.tu-cottbus.de > Students > Self-Service Functions > Transcsript of Records 5.1.3 What do you need to find your Grades online? As with the online registration and withdrawal, you need a valid BTU account to obtain your transcript of records. The account is used for authentication. 5.1.4 How is the Online Transcript of Records formatted and what Information is given? In the transcript of records module examinations are shown together with their status, attempts, grades, credits, date of the examination and admission respectively. Students taking a degree programme that is not modularized can obtain a simple transcript of records. The performance verifications of this simple transcript of records are monolingual. A verified transcript of records is issued. Students taking a modularized degree programme according to the frameworks for bachelor and master degree programmes from the 08.10.2004 will get a detailed bilingual transcript of records in German and English. The module examinations are ordered in accordance to the examination regulation, according to module type, similar to the structure in the online registration.
