like the most about the website? Is there something that you didn’t like? How can you help

I have browsed through all the pages of hospet.online and made a list of all the pros and
cons on the design of the website.
Starting with the cons, the first major flaw that I found was the placement of different
section names. The section names should have been placed on the top menu bar in the
order- Home, About, News, Tourism, Jobs, Contact Us. Also, the ‘search’ icon should have
come before the social media icons on the menu bar.
In the home page, there is quite a lot of white space which should be omitted (URL:
https://hospet.online/ ).
Next important flaw that I came across was that the social media icons were popping on
all the pages. This is not needed. Just placing the icons on the menu bar is enough.
In the ‘news’ section, the choice of pictures and the headlines need improvement.
Interesting headlines and interesting pictures would make the viewer want to open and
read it. (URL: https://hospet.online/category/news/ ). Also, when a particular news page
is opened, the choice of font and font size of that page is not very appealing to the eye. In
certain places, like the ‘news’ section and the ‘jobs’ section, the fonts and font sizes really
need improvement. Some of the fonts are too bold.
Lastly, i think the ‘home’ page should be more organised. A division between different
categories is required.
Coming to the pros, the choice of colors used on the website is impressive. The layouts
and positioning is good too.
In conclusion, the websites visual design needs a little improvement. Correct placements,
improvised typography, interesting pictures and headlines would make the website very
visually appealing, which would ensure more people wanting to browse through it.
In short, getting the right Graphic Designer needed for the website to post more
interested content and making the website visually appealing is very important. I have
studies Graphic Design (through a summer workshop on Typography at NID, Ahemdabad
as well as got several certifications from Coursera on completing their Graphic Design
courses) which has increased my interest in the fields. I have also worked on different
types of projects using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, and now i can quickly
learn to use these softwares to make interesting and unique artworks from the resources
available online or through YouTube tutorials. I am also creatively inclined and will be
pursuing degrees in design soon. My skills and goals make me perfect for this role.
